Unfortunately the coach doesn't play on the pitch. I believe we had 6 giveaways (a few that lead to goals), two brainfarts by Tzolakis alone! That is not on the coach. He actually called up or made Zafeiris, Karetsas, Allen (u21), Triantis, select Greece and started Karetsas as a 17yr old. No other Greece coach had the ba**s to do that. It's very typical of us as Greeks to change coaches regularly. Go look at the big four in the Super league. Although he did make some mistakes in his starting lineup selections ie: Kourbelis and Masouras. I dont think it would have changed anything. I think we need some stability instead of constant coaching changes.

Yes I agree. We have two meaningless games left. He needs to put in all three of new call ups. We dont need to see Kourbelis, Bakasetas and Mantalos, we know what they can do. That being said starting lineup vs Scotland should be the followimg Vlahodimos Vaggianidis Retsos Koulierakis Giannoulis Zafeiris Mouzakitis Tzolis Kostoulas Karetsas Pavlidis Teteh, Triantis should be subbed on in the 2nd half

Dean97 I agree with most of your call ups. Why Tsiftis? I prefer Mandas. I actually think he is better than the other two keepers we have at the moment. I don't follow him but maybe replace Tzolakis and his brain farts with Tsiftis? Also I would get Tete his Greek citizenship and get him on the NT roster. He would be another great option on the right wing with Karetsas. I would also include Michailidis and drop one of Hatzidiakos or Mavropanos.

What a disappointment. Started with such promise beating England then Scotland and promotion to group A of the Nations league. We really have a lot of talent on this NT. I don't know why he would tinker with that lineup that beat Scotland 3-0. We looked so good. Going forward we better not see anymore Kourbelis, Mantalos, Massouras. He has to bring in Triantis and some of the U21 talent (Tzimas, Kostoulas and Rallis) starting from the November games and integrate them into the team. Let all of these kids play in all of the Nation League games and gain experience and build chemistry so that they will be ready for Euro qualifying. Why do all of these coaches mess these things up? Mind you a lot of the blame is the players and not being able to defend set plays and so many brain farts in the last three games. Not all of the blame is on Jovanovic.

I believe going forward Mouzakitis has to be starting over Kourbelis. The kid is one of the most sought after young mids right now. You cannot be starting Kourbelis over Mouzakitis. He was directly responsible for their first goal with his giveaway. Tzolis is our best player right now on the NT but he gave the ball away like 4 or 5 times unacceptable. Tzolakis had a complete brain fart on the 3rd goal. What was he doing? I also find Tsimikas to be a bit of a defensive liability that's why I prefer Giannoulis. We definitely need a win in Scotland to get us back into 2nd place. I hope all the players are fit for the October games.

I believe the answer to what you said Dean is Nectarios Triantis, tall defensive midfielder that just got his Greek citizenship. He will probably call him up for October games. Hopefully Giannoulis is fit for those games also as I believe we play better when he is starting at LB.

One question. Were was Mouzakitis? Why wasn't he even on the bench? Him and Zafeiris should start every game. Why is he putting in Kourbelis?

Yes that is correct. Don't worry I believe Portugal and Greece both go through tomorrow. Portugal is playing at home.

Bakasetas injured. I would have taken Kostoulas instead of Douvikas. Also why Chatzigiovanis? Is he playing well? I would prefer Tzimas. Kids on fire.

Tzavellas and Bouchalakis are unworthy mate. Seems like our coach is on his way out from what I'm reading.

I don't understand his obsession with Tzavellas?? He's 35 yrs old and his best days are behind him! Also Bouchalakis and Fountas? I see no Douvikas and Fortounis but Tzavellas and Bouchalakis are worthy. He's hurting the team with his selections. Can we hire a coach that will pick the best and in form players for once???

Tzavellas, Bouchalakis and Fountas should not be on his list. I don't see why he keeps calling them up. Fountas instead of Douvikas? I don't get it and what is a 35 year old Tzavellas gonna offer? We have way better and younger than him. Call up Tzimas instead of Fountas and give the kid some experience even if he doesn't play.

Why do I keep seeing Baldock in people's lineups? He's not a Greek citizen. Van't Schip was looking at getting him his Greek papers but that never happened. I believe our right back going forward should be Yiannis Massouras with Androutsos as backup for now and Giakoumakis as our starting striker.
