    The group stage is not good for the smaller teams. Look how PAO got through for example. A better team has better chances to advance over a longer game schedule. One knockout game may give more incentive to smaller teams to fight against a much bigger opponent.

    I'd also be in favor of the cup giving an advantage to 2nd division teams and have them play at home against div. 1 teams. in other words, the teams from lower divisions should get home advantage.  If teams draw from same division then it should be random.

    Of course, 1 knockout game favors the smaller teams.

    I watched the latest game PAO-Effes and we almost lost it. Very lucky to go to OT and then win.
    I don't know, we don't seem to have it this year. Oly is in great form and they've beat PAO in all games this season.

    In a few days, we're going to their home to play for the cup, but I'm not hopeful. Last time, just over a week ago, PAO lost without even trying.

    This team isn't what it used to be.

    I'm a Barca fan too. This year is not going to be easy for Barca to win the title. Seville just beat Real so the top 3 are within 1-2 points, but Real has 1 game less.

    I see Barca scoring big time in some games. It just beat Las Palmas 5-0, but it has trouble with some teams.

    Mesi and Soares are league top scorers with 14 goals each
