I see this as a counterattack. If it gets them to be in less debt to the Germans, it's a win. No idea where the 279B figure comes from, but ok.

Well, if we're already going to have a match topic for the friendly 3 days later. We might as well set one up for the official Euro qualifier at Faroe Islands. Needless to say, we should be gunning for the Faroes after the embarrassment in Piraeus back in November. PAME ELLADA! PAME ETHNIKI! :gr: :gr: :gr: :gr: PS, let's try in the future to not have match topics more than like a week or so in advance.

Welcome to all our newest members! This used to be a great forum where something was always happening. Then we lost a popular admin and a lot of people left, and we had a steady decline. This place has new life again, I'm actually finding myself having to adjust to it being this busy. It's been a while. Lazarus, Irlandos, myself, Genome, athinaios and a few others kept this place going through some lean times, and now, it looks like it's been worth it. Phantis is back! We're the best Greek sports forum on the internet again!

I think in a perfect world, we fuse having our best players at Olympiakos and PAO, or at other clubs throughout Europe. We shouldn't be afraid of our best players leaving Greece.
-
We have to give him time. Hopefully the Faroe Islands away match allows him to learn more about the players while also affording him the opportunity to try a few things and you would HOPE we finally get a win.

Great post. Unfortunately, Markarian is in a difficult position taking over mid-campaign like this, but the early signs are good.

Mitroglou and/or Samaras need to be on the squad!
