    Why not Torosidis did it Rb to LB...I play the more Talented..left foot right foot...just defend well and BE a threat to go down the line...these are our best 2..Kotsiras or Mavrias will get exposed and thats who Mancini will target from minute 1..NO way this game is 2 important to drop..WE play for the 3pts and you put your best 11 on the pitch

    IF the new skipper does not play 3 at the back and sacrifices one of Siovas Manolas or Sokratis we are cooked. My opinion..These 3 are our best players and we will need to defend if we want to advance. Why play Mavrias...lets go Anti Santos and play a LB at RB I would play Koutris and Stafylidis. Our 2 holding mids must be able to shield when those 2 bomb up and down the lines Zeca Kourbelis or Samaris must be air tight and they must be able to link to Fortounis ( this weekend is huge for him with EPL rumors swirling).

    Up front I am not a fan of Koulouris...I play Donis and Kolovos who is in form

    Supply comes from the wings..Koutris has to be huge we have no RB of quality do we try Stafylidis there (Santos played Toro LB )..not a fan of Zeca...this is a below avg squad..the strength is the back 3 ...our 2 CDM have ZERO passing ability to link Fortounis to strikers

    We are playing a minnow any lineup should be suffice. This game should be in the bag at 30 minutes no reason to struggle with them.

    Why this manager rates Tzavellas is beyond me Stafylidis should be starting and Lykogiannis the 2nd. Tziolis at least rewarded him with a goal but his led legs couldnt get the offside which caused the 1st goal..if he continues to start we will get punished in playoffs way to slow and does not move the ball forward at all.

    Maybe Mandalos best game.. Mitroglou is class lacking fitness..Fortounis was spot on with deliveries...We will need to be razor sharp when the KO games come..Tzavellas is a liability..a back 3 of Sokratis KPap Manolas a must in my opinion.

    IN KO stage 3-4-3..Zeca and Taxi Sitting right in front of the back..Mandalos and Fortounis interchanching and Toro Stafy playin line to line..our BEST players have to be on the pitch no way Tziolis Tzavellas merits a starts over Kpaps or TAxi vs bigger teams

    Like the fact that Kourbelis Zeca have some chemistry together and the 3 in the back will give less space for Dzeko to operate.

    I guess Skibbman will go for 4-3-2-1 hoping a draw happens.

    Vermaelen playing starter and giving in to Mitroglou's scary face ends up with us winning a penalty in 89 minute.

    Fortounis scores and a lion roar gets heard from whole Greece.

    We did it boys. we scored.

    Sovaroligis with Zeca I cant handle this stuff the guy is avg at best Siopis and Tachtsidis should start ahead of him

    How come Bobby Lykogiannis is not in our plans..was part of the youth side where him and Stafylidis manned the left side..we shoe horn guys down the left side or are not wing players..yes his league is inferior BUT he is a big kid 6'1 strong with good pace was talented enough for the youth sides but because he settles for a smaller club he is forgoitten...play Stafy at LB and him as an attacking left mid...and wow 2 leftfooters who will be able to play off of each other overlaps and both can cross my .02

    This guy is not serious...he is looking at Maniatis Tziolis ( no team) and Stafylidis to shore up the CDM..meanwhile Tachtsidis played great just last weekend maybe the Germano doesnt read Gazetta dala Sport or catch Rai..Tachtsidis and Giannotas are must starts in place of the 2 donkeys and Bakasetas...why do we complicate things...1-0 87th Maniatis screamer

     11άδα της Εθνικής ομάδας για τον αγώνα με το Γιβραλτάρ στο Αλγκάρβε. Ο Μίχαελ Σκίμπε ξεκινά τον Μπακασέτα στο αρχικό σχήμα αντί τού Χολέμπας, ενώ το σύστημα θα είναι 4-2-3-1 όπως και με την Ολλανδία στη φιλική νίκη με 2-1 στο Αϊντχόφεν πριν μερικές ημέρες.

    Ο Μίκαελ Σκίμπε έκανε αρκετές δοκιμές στις προπονήσεις των προηγούμενων ημερών, όμως στην προπόνηση της Δευτέρας (5/9) φαίνεται πως κατέληξε στους βασικούς του.

    Ο Γερμανός προπονητής θα παρατάξει την ομάδα με 4-2-3-1, με τον Καρνέζη στην εστία, τους Τοροσίδη, Κυριάκο Παπαδόπουλο, Μανωλά και Τζαβέλλα στην τετράδα της άμυνας, τους Σάμαρη και Μανιάτη ως αμυντικούς χαφ, τους Μπακασέτα, Μάνταλο και Φορτούνη στην τριπλέτα της μεσαίας γραμμής και τον Μήτρογλου ως προωθημένο.

    2 years ago becoming a flop right after you were supposed to be the best CF Greece has lately produced, and not managing to make impact in teams like Fuhlam and even Olympiakos could have produced a lot of stress on him. Seeing himself  being considered a super star in a better league, playing regularly on CL and winning strong and meaningful titles is probably the change we see. As many mentioned, he looks more confident than ever and he actually helps the midfield by keeping the ball and not just being a box forward.

    I we had this Mitro in Brasil totally different outcome..not only did he looked fit..played the ball down..quick feet found the right pass everytime..hiw play was 10 on 10

    This was not our dads or even my younger years Holland BUT take nothing away from our team. Even before the 1st goal Greece was pressing the ball and closing in very quickly..1st time in a along time that we wanted to recoup the ball that quickly. I enjoyed watching this team play alot of one touch close passoulais..MITRO was a giant today..looks very fit they could not handle him..Mandalos and Fortounis were just fine out there..When was the last time a GREEK cross had 4 targets in the box and was not a free or corner kick. 

    No complaints today even on Tzavellas or Maniatis ( they must go)...I cant see us stumbling out of the gate come Tuesday. Very happy with Skibbes tactics today..We will probably see the same starters wouldnt mind Giannotas for Holebas. Great start to a LONG WEEKEND...now can Canada pull a mini miracle tomorrow.

    It won't be a free ride into the first team there. Torino have Benassi (former Inter, Italy youth international), Baselli (Italy youth int'l) and Acquah (senior Ghana international) on their books. But given his history with the club I'm sure he'll get plenty of game time.

     

    And it shouldnt be handed on a platter...work for your spot ...outwork everyone fighting for that spot and the coach will play you. I like this player ...deep playing mid who can link back to the attacking players.
