  1. I disagree. It's pretty common for a new coach to try and buy players that he liked from his old club, Dellas isn't really doing anything wrong here. I'd have a problem if he tried to sign away important staff members and youth coaches that he knows are good. But when it comes to some bench/fringe players I'm not too worried. Players like Soiledis, and Anakoglou aren't good enough for this team and I wouldn't be upset if we sold them and got some money in return. Depth wouldn't be much of an issue if those two were sold. at LB we'd have Didac, and Petravakis still with us. We have Galo, Bakakis coming back, and Vasilantonooulos (or whatever his name is) for RB. Worst case scenario, Galo or Bakakis can play LB while the other plays RB. We have Johanson Simoes Cordero at CDM, plus Tzanetopoulos who can play CDM if we don't loan him, Fage, and Adreopoulos who was very good last year for Kerkyra. If Platellas was sold we'd need to replace him on the wing for sure, we need a winger already even if he stays. Same with Tzanetopoulos, we need a good centerback anyways. All this is assuming that the media is right which they normally aren't.
  2. Love house of cards, season 3 is unbelievable, you won't be able to stop watching.

    AEK BC

I'm gonna quote this post from April because the same s%$#! is still going on. Aggelopoulos has dropped over 4 million into players for this team the past two years , paid off our debts, and bought Galatsi from government for 2 million euros so that we have a home court. The man has dropped around 9 million into this team, yet when we play a home game in Eurocup we only get 3,000 people to show up. Because some clowns at original want to protest the karta filathlo law that was passed, like the government gives a F*** if you go to the games malakes, the only people they are hurting our the team. Hopefully Aggelopoulos doesn't get pissed off soon and stops dropping money into this team because of the lack of fan support.

5/5 to start the year after today's win against Kavala. Need to win the next 3 before we play Olympiakos.
  5. Honestly this year and last year Atromios has gone on their own without being an Olympiakos feeder team IMO, they have no loan players this year and I think they only had one last year. And their record against the gavro the past three years is very good. They aren't as bad as they used to be when they would sit out players when they played them.
  6. I read that Dellas wants to bring some players from AEK to Atromitos. Apparently they are Anakoglou Platellas Soiledis and Tzanetopoulos. I'd be fine if we sell the first three to them if the price is right, and loan Tzanetopoulos.
  7. Agreed about Chrisantus I had hope for him until the Panathinaikos game, that guy blows. At least Djebour is back, hopefully he can do the job with Aravidis until January when we bring in one or two strikers. Another thing I want to comment on is Tzanetopoulos. I agreed with the decision at first that he should be benched for a few games to wake him up again and make him work hard. He made tons of mistakes in the games and apparently was slacking off at practice, but I don't think that he should be completely left out of the apostoli. He was called up to the national team, he has a lot of potential, and he's on a 1100 euros per month contract (how the hell haven't we resigned him yet). I think completely leaving him out of the apostoli will kill his confidence. If Poyet doesn't rate him right now then we should give him a new contract since his expires this summer, and send him on loan to Atromitos since we know Dellas loves him, or to a struggling team like Panthrakikos. He needs to be playing. It would be a shame to delay his development, or worse and have another Manolas situation...
  8. If Didac didn't get hurt we'd be able to see our full strength squad for the first time all year. Hopefully after the break everyone is heathy and we can go on a big winning streak, we have an easy schedule after this game.
  9. Idk why but Poyet isn't planning on starting him.
  10. Game on Sunday against a very good Asteras Tripolis team. Over 20,000 fans are expected in this game which will help the team. Didac will be out injured, and Mantalos is in doubt, both are huge losses. I'm interested to see how Poyet sets up the team. Lineup wise he's been trying this in practice: -------------------------Baroja----------------------------- Galo----Kolovetsios-------Labropoulos---Soiledis ----------------Simoes---Johanson--------------------- Vargas-----------Buononotte-----------------Barbosa ------------------Big empty hole------------------------- Who's in that big empty hole you ask? Well, none other than Maki Chrisantus. I guess Poyet wants to use a real striker in his system, little does he know Chrisantus isn't a real soccer player. I read a rumor that they are playing him just to get his value up and sell him in January, I'm convinced that playing him will make his value drop to be honest. I hope he shuts me up... Hopefully Buononotte and Vargas do well because we won't win if they are off form.
  11. He's a beast, was supposed to be out for two weeks but he practiced normally today and has a chance to be in the apostoli for the game Sunday. Doubtful he starts however.
  12. I'm interested to see how he does. He has a pretty solid squad at his disposal that was under performing with some really good players like Napoleoni and Marcelinho. Hopefully he lasts there for a few years and learns some things along the way. Eventually I see him making his way back to AEK.
  13. Down 17 at halftime? No big deal. Completed a 17 point comeback to win 75-74!!!
  14. Now that Vertis and Ploutarchos have no more concerts for about a month Djebour remembered that he can play soccer in his free time. He had a pulled muscle and was out for two months. The guy doesn't want to play soccer, he's here for a pay check and bouzoukia.
  15. In his post game interview after the game yesterday Poyet basically came out and said that he wants a forward to be signed in January. The biggest gain from having him as a coach as that he will demand that players are signed in January. Hopefully he and Milovanovic agree on a few strikers to target. We should look into releasing that waste of space named Djebour, and hopefully find some sucker to take on Chrisantus.
  16. He's gonna miss the Asteras game and the national team games with an injury. Hopefully back for the Panthrakikos game on the 22nd. We are lucky it wasn't a bad injury because that hack Sanchez could have re torn Mantalos' ACL with that two footed tackle...
  17. Ninis still plays soccer?
  18. Yeah that report has been confirmed... Also an interesting read about some issues between Cordero and Dellas:
  19. This guys a trash coach
  20. THANK THE LORD THIS IS THE BEST AEK RELATED NEWS IVE SEEN IN OVER A YEAR
  21. First complete game of the year I'd say. What a gem Dion Lewis is.
  22. I'm pissed his first choice fitness coach didn't want to come to Greece.... Hope we aren't stuck with Bouroutzikas still...
  23. When Poyet started at Brighton they were going to be relegated to the 4th division, in his last season they were on the brink of promotion to the premiership... He took the worst premiership team in Sunderland, saved them from relegation, and took them to the league cup final. He's a better coach than Dellas.
  24. I guess there's an option for two additional years if he does well with us. He's coaching on Sunday against Panathinaikos along with Manolas and his own assistant.
  25. Poyet has reached an agreement with Melissanidis and is signing papers most likely tomorrow. The negative is that it's only a deal until the summer...
