Why not just give licences to those that want them? As long as they can show they have the programming and the financial means to do so let them have the licences?

They've already been broadcasting for 30 years without a license so why not? Because it makes too much sense and because Syriza are control freaks. They want to decide who gets the licenses so they can force the broadcaster to broadcast pro-Syriza content. If they don't the broadcaster looses their license.

  2. One of the most googled questions in UK right now (after the vote!) is: what is the EU?

Just goes to show you what ignorant sheep the mass populous of voters are, esp the millennials.

I still can't believe this actually happened. Democracy isn't perfect but it's better than living under EU dictatorship.

Greece is next. Either the EU will get tired of bailing them out or the people will get tired of austerity. One of the two forces is going to tip the balance in favor of Grexit, just of matter of when.

  3. Nobody made Tsipras cut pensions and tax the living daylights out of people to meet EU demands. Tsipras chose to do that on his own because in Syriza fantasy land, the way to economic prosperity is via over taxation.

Tsipras could have chosen to cut spending on redundant social programs, reduce government labor force by natural attrition (ie: don't fill positions after people retire) or just fire some people but chose to do neither to protect his union friends. He doesn't even have the balls to go after civil servants who got their jobs with fraudulent uni degrees.

This new money from MOU 3 will only last until around September, then what? MOU 4 and an endless cycle of bailouts continues.

  4. Turn away every single unaccompanied Muslim male. If the Syrian is a Christian AND with a family then look into accepting them but no guarantees. This strategy should weed out thieves, rapists and terrorists masquerading as "refugees".

Most of the "refugees" are men of military age who instead of staying home to fight for their country decide to flee and fight border guards for illegal entry in the EU.

They use children as bargaining chips since it's easier for children to obtain refugee status then the rest of the family floods in. Real lowlifes these people.

  5.

Greece could do with some of this

Those citizen policing incidents at the end of the video will only become more common place as the uneducated illegals continue to infest the EU.

Is the deal with Turkey still on? I haven't heard of any deportations lately or maybe it's Greece being slow processing people's claims.

  6. Did I read correctly in Kathimerini the other day that only 8% of tax payers have actually filed a tax return???

The deadline in June 30th and mind you that lawyers and accountants are on strike which doesn't help but still 8% is deplorable.

In Kastoria they are asking people to pay property taxes going back three years. How they expect people to pay, I don't know.

  7. You are completely wrong. Money is printed freely on a press. They could print as much as they please. Fiat currency is not backed by anything. Money is therefore not the motive.

Mate, study who these luciferians are. I know it sounds crazy to you but what is going in the world right now is insane! It will only make sense then. Many analysts I follow are anticipating major events between now and October which is likely to be a global finance and economic collapse much greater than 2008!

No doubt we are due for a major correction of at least 30%. It's the end of an 8 year cycle that started in 2000-01 with the .com crash then in 2008 with the real estate crash and now 2016 with stock market + real estate crash about to happen.

Add to this the fact that many US workers will retire this year and start withdrawing from their pension funds. There are more than 10,000 Americans retiring everyday.

On the other hand, it will be an amazing short selling opportunity to become very, very rich.

You're right, Fiat is not backed by any hard asset (like gold). It literally comes into existence out of thin air drawn from a checking account with nothing in it and miraculously off the printing press comes the currency! It only has value because the people using the currency still believe it has value.

  8. Trance used to be so good in the 90s to early 2000s but the likes of Tiesto, Armin van Burren and Ferry Corsten killed it and turned it into pop music. It's the new electro house.

Back in the good old days (1997 to be exact):

This one is also good but trance had already become pop music by then (2004):

Nowadays I listen to mostly underground techno from guys like Adam Beyer and Chris Leibing along with underground tech house and deep house, something that makes me feel my internal organs vibrating at a rave.

  9. So today the public unions went on strike to protest pension reforms, which are badly needed by the way. No flights taking off or landing at airports, accountants and lawyers also on strike so lawful taxpayers can't file their tax returns and are not being granted an extension.

We also have migrants rioting in Piraeus and Greece is only days away from being kicked out of international soccer competitions.

Wow......what a truly F***ed up state of affairs.

The austerity measures are harsh, yes, but at the end of the day, it's Greece's own fault they put themselves in this position to begin with.

  10. Greece is going to become a human dumping ground for these illegals now that every country between Germany and Greece has erected fences.

Tsipras will plead for sympathy and open borders for the illegals since he and Merkel actually agree on something thinking he will get more favorable treatment during the bailout talks but is only fooling himself. He doesn't believe in border control and will turn the country into a human dumping ground that will require many more millions of euro to accommodate all the illegals.

  11. This is the Liberals joke of the day. Funny it's Ontario trying this. If they were a sovereign country, their finances would be worse than Greece.

It will end in another Liberal disaster to be covered off by the tax payers of course coupled with the highest energy costs and soon a mandatory pension plan, Ontario is F***ed financially.

Quebec keeps opposing the new pipeline and can go F*** themselves too as far as I'm concerned.

  12. Great so now they get money for "reception centers" to help keep illegal migrants from entering the EU.

Once ascension talks resume, if the EU does something Turks don't like, the Turks can open the migrant taps to keep flooding the EU. It's a win-win for Turkey.

The EU no doubt had to act fast to address the migrants issue but they have been or will be blackmailed in the process.

  13. One thing that I can't get over, the bell center is nothing compared to the ACC, what a dump of a stadium, but the great hockey atmosphere in Montreal kinda makes up for it, and the bar experience after the game, always enjoy going to Montreal to watch a game....Can't wait to go back and watch some playoff hockey in April.

You know Molson just committed $100 million over three years to renovate the place. It's been 20 years now since the place opened and due for an upgrade.

Although the team keeps on winning, Brian Flynn is not the answer on the second line with Galchenyuk and Eller. Therrien finally smartened up last game vs. Winnipeg and moved Smith-Pelly onto that line in place of Flynn.

Long term they need a legit second line right winger to play with those two for Galchenyuk to become a point per game player. Eller plays left wing as an insurance policy in case Galchenyuk can't win a face off to save his life so he can stay but the right wing is an obvious need.

Just need a good right wigner and depth defencemen and this team will contend this year. If Colorado misses the playoffs and Iginla becomes available................you never know.

  14. Good start off to 3-0.

Galchenyk will have his break out year. Beaulieu needs to have a break out year and establish himself as Markov's repalcement. Joulsen basically replaces Ryan McDonough who was given away for a pylon.

Montreal will content for first in the east with the Rangers and Litghning.

  15. what ever happened to all those recent plans for Solar energy and wind farms?

how is the gas/oil explorations going?  we were told that by early 2015 we would have significant reports?

Energy development requires foreign investment, where else will Greece get the money from but who the hell wants to invest in Greece with this mickey mouse government running the show?

Greece needs to attract foreign investment, start exporting product besides olive oil and feta and create jobs.

    26% unemployment is simply incomprehensible.
