ChaniaFC
Does somebody know why he was taken off the referees list. He was supposed to be the UEFA representative there but will not be there now.
cyberfish
Apparently, one of his assistant refs failed seventeen out of twenty 150-meter runs.
ChaniaFC
Same guy who cost him the World Cup Spot in Germany?
cyberfish
No, a different one this time, and it might have been 3 out of 20 150aria, but in any case this quantifies the poor performance we see every weekend by referees and assistants alike. The radio also said that the Refereeing authorities will align their tests with FIFA's tests ... after February
AEKPROTATHLIMA
So my question is if the assistant ref failed for FIFA standards how come SuperLeague dosen't adapt the same tests and see how many of our refs and assistant qualified?!!!!! I bet you it will not be a big number!!!
ChaniaFC
Its a shame because he is not a bad ref, and probably would have worked at the very least a World Cup Semi-Final. Now UEFA has him on their Champions League Matchdays (and I can see him doing the final) I guess UEFA does not have the same rules as FIFA for the refs
