Original Melbourne 21
I too expect one result from this match.......we need a win. Not for anything but to break the psychological barrier that we have obtained from Europe. We need to score and we need three points. GAMA TOUS TI MANA RE DIKEFALE. Irlandos
Don't have a good feeling for this game either  A 1-1 draw at best unless Monaco get word from Holland that Depor are winning their game... :(
The2ndMouse
I cannot say what the final score will be ... I simply dont know which face we will show in the pitch on the night... kal
You re lucky we are going to play in Athens without Roma, Zikos, Giuly and Rothen. Some of our best players. But we just want o keep the first place so if PSV win we will play slowly with young player.
Dava-G
Actually, now things are becoming very clear for me... I believe AEK will win for one and for only one reason... It will be the first Champions league game I will not be able to home and listen to... I will have to stay at work... Maybe that is the key...
Cerigo
Panathinaikos have led the way. Now it is time for AEK to show that it can still produce in European competition.

Maybe that is the key If this works we are going to subsidise your wages and turn you to a workoholic! Ziaka
I just read that the attendance for the game was 1,205. That is pathetic.
nightsurfer
The attendance says: AEK we expect more from you........ We had a good second half....but could not take profit of our chances..
Dava-G
I think it is crap. The attendence is something for our fans to be ashamed of. The team needs you MORE in times of trouble and in big games. We didnt do our part yesterday.
Original Melbourne 21
Im with nitesurfer on this one......I think that it was needed because frankly we couldnt stand for our terrible CL performances to date. And they proved yet again why the fans dont go with another draw after being in its best form all campaign. There is only so much the fans will take.......we are 8 pts adrift of the league, out of Europe with easily the best squad in Greece.........I am with the fans in this one. PAOKARA
AEK has now gone with 18 champions Leauge games without a win, a record  also the attendance way pathetic only one thousand at a CL game
Ziaka
I can understand AEK fans being unhappy with the performance of the team this season, but boycotting the CL game I think is the wrong way. It only sends bad signals about the Greek soccer. With the bad showing of the Greek teams in Europe this season, I begin to wonder if we really deserve 3 teams in the CL. PAOKARA
the bad showing of the Greek teams in Europe this season, I begin to wonder if we really deserve 3 teams in the CL. same here! is there any chance Uefa will take the 3rd spot away? Original Melbourne 21
Well we shouldnt really worry about representing Greece because you should be looking after yourselves first. Hell if the fans need to say something, there is no better time than CL......... Who cares how the rest of the world looks at us........there was a point to be made which was more important.
Ziaka
No, AEK should first worry about representing AEK, but taking part in competition such as CL, it is also indirectly representing Greek soccer. My view is that CL is the best competition in Europe for soccer. Competition, where you can see some of the best soccer presently played in the World. Being part of that should be privilige and any team taking part should present its best, and that inludes the fans.
AEK GIA PANTA
om21 your right aek should represemnt itself first but also greece as well lets not forget they're from greece so they represent them as well. as for attendance i read on a site it was 4,000 does that mean only 1,205 paid and the rest were members who dont need to pay? what was total attendance including non-paying fans? as for result little dissapointed have to wait til lnext yr to get our 1st cl win so frustrating. at least abonsah didnt play and aek kept clean sheet for 2nd game in a row. kal
For the attendance I read 8 000 in France. And we have one Ultra who come from Monaco to Athens :nw:
