Iliana
The FIA summoned Turkish Grand Prix bosses to explain themselves to the World Motor Sport Council after the controversial podium ceremony at last weekend's Istanbul race. The FIA launched an investigation after Turkish Cypriot leader Mehmet Ali Talat presented race winner Felipe Massa with his trophy and was described as president of the Turkish Cypriot 'state' - which is only officially recognised by Turkey and not the international community. The hearing will take place in Paris on 19 September where Turkish GP bosses are charged with acting in breach of FIA Statutes, the International Sporting Code and the 2006 Formula One Sporting Regulations.
