Lazarus Posted May 23, 2006 Share Posted May 23, 2006 Kazimierz Gorski, one of football's greats, died yesterday at age 85. May he rest in peace. Gorski has served as coach to Panathinaikos, Kastoria, Ethnikos Piraeus and Olympiacos Piraeus. Ziaka Posted May 23, 2006 Share Posted May 23, 2006 Lazare, I was just about to post the same info. I first heard of Gorski while living in Czechoslovakia in early 70's. At that time he coached the great Polish NT that finished 3rd in the WC and included such greqat players as Lato, Deyna, Gadocha, Tomaszewski and others.
