Phantis
Tavlaridis out to impress http://skysports.planetfootball.com/articl...e.asp?id=183852 Arsenal defender Efstathios Tavlaridis has revealed he chose to take a loan move to Lille in order to secure regular first-team football. The 23-year-old Greek defender has failed to cement a regular place at Highbury, which prompted Arsene Wenger to send him out on loan. Tavlaridis has the utmost respect for Wenger and his Gunners team-mates but feels the time is right for him to be playing regular football. "I came here because it is a good club and also because Claude Puel said to me that he would give me the chance to show what I can do," Tavlaridis told Maxifoot.
