The2ndMouse Posted April 20, 2005 Share Posted April 20, 2005 The story of Ethnikos FC is long... mainly because its an old team with a lot of history Up to some years back they were a A Division (Premiership) team but they were relegated time after time and even reached the amature leagues two years ago On top of that they came very very close to closing down due to financial problems A neighbouring team AO Manis was promoted form their amature group to the C Division and Ethnikos Merged with them.... married upwards in a way This solved some problems but now the merged club still plays in C Division (I think) Ethnikos Used to share Stadio Karaiskaki with Olympiakos before the Stadium was demolished and rebuilt. They play in the Nikea Municipal Stadium (Nikea is a suburb of Pireus but I could not istruct you on how to go there... a taxi from the port would be a perfect idea) You can also make a google search.
