CSKA lost 2-0, but still went through 4-2 on agg Parma were held to a 0-0 draw at home, but went through because of the first result, 1-1 AZ drew 1-1 at home, but went through 3-2 on agg Sporting ripped Newcastle 4-1 at home, going through with a 4-2 agg win now CSKA play Parma, while AZ play Sporting. these semi final games will be very exciting, and you cant really pick a winner. both games will be decided but a goal or because of the away goal rule. no team will run away in their leg. JOHNNY Posted April 15, 2005 Share Posted April 15, 2005 Some of the Newcastle defending last night was the worst I've seen in a while. They just couldn't get the ball clear. Fair play to Sporting who didn't give up, despite needing 3 goals when they went behind to Dyer's opener. Newcastle were a completely different side when he went off.
