Barcelona, Mallorca, Valencia and Villarreal had all asked European football's governing body to call off the first leg fixtures scheduled for Thursday evening. Irlandos
It is unusual that UEFA cancelled CL matches, in 2001, over a terrorist act in...New York but will not do the same when a similar act takes place within the country of these four participants...
The2ndMouse
Normally it should work against Spanish Teams... I do understand that getting away from normal life schedules is like admitting to the the bombers success of disrupting normal life, but shouldnt we accept that YES they do and YES we should act accordingly... I believe that for many reasons Spanish teams will suffer. For sure attendances will not be as big... players will be shocked all day long and not concentrated on the game etc...
