Bootman Posted March 22 Posted March 22 This is the lineup I want to see tomorrow Tzolakis Rota Mavropanos Koulierakis Giannoulis Zafeiris Mouzakitis Tzolis Konstantelias Karetsas Pavlidis If Greece play like they did in the 2nd half last game they will win 2-0 3
HellasLEAF Posted March 22 Posted March 22 I like that team, but I think 2 - 1 if we win. I have my doubts though. Scotland looked composed and have been turning in good results of late it will be difficult and we can't have an absent brain referee again with decisions like that. Hard to take the win seriously when they didn't even score at home one goal. Of equal concern is that Portugal lost. If Denmark win we will have Portugal in the qualifying group is this correct?
Bootman Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Yes that is correct. Don't worry I believe Portugal and Greece both go through tomorrow. Portugal is playing at home.
Dutch Eagle Posted March 23 Author Posted March 23 Almost @Bootman: Actual lineup (has one other player compared to yours): Tzolakis Vagiannidis Mavropanos Koulierakis Giannoulis Zafeiris Mouzakitis Tzolis Konstantelias Karetsas Pavlidis
Dutch Eagle Posted March 23 Author Posted March 23 Some very un-Greek trivia: Average age of the starting XI is only 22,7 years. Maybe youngest ever? Oldest player is Giannoulis (29), so we might as well be called the U-30.

Brklyngrk Posted March 23 Posted March 23 (edited) Scotland has had more possession but really haven't had too many chances. They are so much more physical than us. Greece - the Future is here. The kids are legit, they are fast and skilled. Karetsas is going to be a star. Delias links up very well with him. Every time we break, anything can happen. Give Jovanovic credit, he is not afraid to play the youth and bench players he doesn't believe are performing. 2nd half - Scotland will need to play more open and this will hopefully suit are counters.. J1078 Posted March 23 Posted March 23 (edited) HUGE respect to Jovanovic for not being afraid to play these kids in such a meaningful game. This clearly shows which direction this team is finally going in regard to the youth starting to take over the NT.. Edited March 23 by J1078
