My OCD requires me to mention that Wembley Stadium is in London. We always include the city around here. I wish I was still a mod

I hope that Finally puts to bed the constant speculation that Fortounis will represent the Ethniki ever again. We must now keep going forward.

If we don't have the players full heart and commitment to this cause they really are of no use to us.  Fortounis or something like him I think was the missing piece last campaign we could have easily been in the Euros.  We have talented players hungry for success with the NT at the moment and must support and lean on them to deliver.

I think if Fortounis ever wants to commit and put his heart  into the Ethniki again we should welcome him back.  He’s done a lot for Greece in the past and he is quality.

Definitely needed him vs Georgia our midfield in that match could not posses the ball and could hardly make a through ball to our forwards. I think Greece will get a draw in England which is like a win! Let’s Go Hellas!!

I like concistency too, so as a/the mod I will adjust it. 😁

But if Lazarus wants to change it back, I won't be offended.

Just heard Ioannidis will miss the match with England.. Big loss..

Terrible news! He has been in great form. I guess Pavlidis will now start?

Correct it will be Pavlidis, who has been starting for Benfica since his summer move so he has plenty of minutes in his legs.

Jovanovic said that he won't be calling up anyone to replace Ioannidis and he is happy going into these 2 games with Pavlidis and Douvikas as the squads strikers.

I guess that probably means it is almost NT career over for Giakoumakis. He hasn't been called up since his move to Mexico (which also coincided with the change in manager).

Managed to get two tickets with the Greek fans for me and my father. I would post some pics from Wembley but unfortunately you can only upload via URL on here.

Due to the most recent tragic news, I doubt we play this upcoming window. Idk how the players would be able to focus on the game. Terrible, terrible news

Very sad just heard the news RIP George Baldock 🙏

The game will go on with players wearing a black arm band. I am sure there will be a minute of silence before kickoff.

Horrible news about Baldock, how comes he wasn't in the original squad for this game? He's been getting a few caps of recent.

I don't think he was.  He had been injured and just starting playing again recently. Vagiannidis was playing as RB for PAO until recently (pre-contact dispute).

Rota - Mavropanos - Koulierakis - Giannoulis
