It's a shame we got eliminated in such a way after playing an almost perfect game. I think the injury to Baba was the turning point.

I think it would have been better for Kotarski to take that last kick instead of samatta.

Regardless of what happened tonight, Samatta can never play for PAOK again. It is clear that he is not a good player. Lucescu will be simply offending if he gives him the nod over Tzimas.

Agree that Samatta is useless, but he is not the one that lost the game for us. We had 4 chances to finish them off.

Definitely. The fact that he was our 9th player meant that it was supposed to be finished before him. But my reasoning isn't just based on his 'penalty'. He just hasn't got it.

I'll sound annoying but I called this from the very beginning. The fact that Fenerbahce let us have him for free when he had a contract until 2025 was an easy red flag to spot. Now we will have to offload him in the summer, which won't be easy considering he is on good money.

Not sure if that's heartbreaking or comedy... To have 3 opportunities in the shootout to win the game and to miss all three penalties is unbelievable. 

Otherwise I think the team played the game almost perfectly, limited PAO to creating very little and deserved to qualify. Great to see a response from the squad and Lucescu, in terms of performance. 

Hopefully the boys aren't too rattled by the way which the elimination came about and can recover both physically and mentally to get 3 points on the weekend.
