We will but not yet. The week after this one.

Think this is better. The players have played 44 matches (for PAOK; our internationals played way more) so far this season in only 8 months time. Pana played just 31. Asteras too. Aris 35. We must stay as fresh as possible. See Tzolis: he is a shadow of him playing in the early season. They need some rest.

We will finish SL on May 16th. 7 games left. And 1 or 2 in the cup. Again a lot of games in one month time.......

Good point. The remaining games are very tightly clustered.

18th, 21st, 25th, 27th

-break-

5th, 9th, 12th, 16th

The 27th is the Cup game, so if we make it through we'll see some more matches show up

If we make it through to the final, that will be played on the 23rd. The players will basically have 2-3 weeks off before they will need to return for pre-season. Why do I already sense that this summer will be another disaster.

Don't think his problem has to do with playing too many game. It has more to do with all the talk about him joining the big European teams getting to his head. On top of that he has hired an agency to represent him in possible talks with the big clubs. Since that point his play has suffered. He no longer puts his legs into the fire fearing possible injury. I am sure that was a suggestion from the agency.

Ninua, Kagawa, Pereira and Mihai are (still) injured.

Our squad against Gayros:

Warda likely to be dropped, I think Garcia will favour the 3 man midfield of Schwab, El Kaddouri and Augusto against Olympiacos.

I would personally start Warda, especially since they will be missing Ba and Semedo it looks like Avraam Papadopoulos(Yes he is still around) will start. Good opportunity for us to expose them and grab some goals.

Anyone  want to try guess what's going on with this formation? My best guest is that we are going to see Vieirinha on the wing, Rodrigo at right back and El-Kadouri back in midfield. Unless Garcia is trying something really left-field 🤷‍♂️

EDIT: On 2nd thought, it looks like he is trying to match Olympiacos by playing a 3-4-3 like they are. I don't mind a coach mixing it up and trying and catch the other team off guard, but Vierinha at center back? I'm not sure I believe, but I guess we'll find out soon enough.

As the commentator brings us back to the game (and talks about Baba's stats and effectiveness) I just keep thinking to myself, "oh great now Garcia's gonna sub him off."

BTW there are reports that we're pushing to get him on loan again for another season. Would be a great move if we did.
