Dean97 Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 I think the captaincy should go to either Tsimikas, Vlachodimos, Manolas or Fortounis. These guys are our best players. As far as long serving or a real leader, that should go to either Sokratis or Kyriakos Papadopoulos. Both these guys have played a lot for Greece and both have more leadership qualities. That’s if Sokratis plays again and if Papadopoulos stays fit. Also Mavropanos is the most inform out of all our CBs so he has to start. 2

Brklyngrk Posted April 17, 2022 Posted April 17, 2022 I love Sokratis/Kyriakos passion but we can't rely on them now in that role. I think it should either be Tsimikas (great attitude, playing at a high level) or our goal keeper (also playing at a high level). Everyone else is too young or not fit for that role.
kolokotronis99tripoli Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 Jose Mourino has expressed that he wants Tsimikas at Roma. I think this Roma team will challenge for the title next year so that would be nice and he needs more game time and would follow the footsteps of Manolas, Holebas, and Torosidis at Roma. But man, kinda hoped for a bigger club than that? We’ll see what he does
kolokotronis99tripoli Posted May 14, 2022 Posted May 14, 2022 KOSTAS TSIMIKAS WITH THE GAME WINNING PENALTY FOR LIVERPOOL IN THE FA CUP FINAL. (Was subbed on in ET) 1
paokarag4 Posted December 24, 2023 Posted December 24, 2023 After about 2 months as the starting left back (due to Andy Robertson's injury), Tsimikas has broken his collarbone in an unlucky incident where he was shoved into his own coach and landed awkwardly on his collarbone. He will be out for a while, early reports are at least 3 months which would put him in big doubt for the playoff against Kazakhstan and any potential subsequent playoff final.

Saka shoved him. We need our starters to be fit and ready for March. Very concerning.
Brklyngrk Posted December 29, 2023 Posted December 29, 2023 The only saving grace was that Giannoulis looked really good last time out as LB. Still a big loss though...
Dutch Eagle Posted May 5 Posted May 5 Not mentioned yet but last week he was crowned English champion. He is the first Greek to win the Premier League. 1
