Soprano76
Italy is currently in a state of emergency. Greece, with its elderly population, can be significantly affected. Good call to keep the stadiums closed. I wouldn't be surprised if this game is postponed too.
pash
I would rather all the games be postponed. Before we play our home leg, not right after.

Blackhawk
I don't believe for one second that the he has the virus. How convenient to catch the virus just one week before he was supposed to appear in court for match fixing. Also the Wolves have asked UEFA to postpone their game against Olympiakos on Thursday following this news. PAOK should do the same for Sunday. Alphonse
UEFA has confirmed the Wolves game will go ahead. All Olympiakos players tested negative to Corona
Mitsos
The Arsenal - Man City game has been postponed because some Arsenal players shook hands with Marinakis but the OSFP games against PAOK and Wolves will be played. Does this make any sense?
pash
No. But I'd imagine that UEFA (EL) has one standard and the respective leagues have their own. Which isn't meant to be a defense of these multiple standards, of course...

I actually like this format of the playoffs. In a country like Greece I think it's the right away to go, 36 game season without having 18-20 team in the league which isn't viable for Greece. Play everyone twice then divide the league, makes it tougher to win the title as you play the other top 6 teams again. The only thing that I probably don't like about it, is that it dilutes derbies. Instead of 2 Olympiacos V PAOK we get 4, by the time we get around to game 3/4 it's lost it's edge a little. Obviously broadcasters won't care, as the derbies are the games that pull in the biggest tv audiences.
Nea Bafra
Frankly they should just void all seasons currently underway [especially the ones with relegation]
Bananas
Agree paokarag4. At first I couldn't stomach the idea of the play offs but I think in hindsight given how few teams are competitive and have a decent fan base and budget it's a good thing overall. As for the league this season, I find it hard to believe the play offs will be played given what's happening with covid-19. I think the title will (and should) go to Olympiakos given they were 7 points clear at the end of the standard home and away season.
pash
Practically speaking, the playoffs would have to pick up, what, two months late? They'd end as the team was expecting to show up for preseason training.
Athens4
It should be voided with European places given to the same teams as last season. Before any opponent jumps out on me - I am not saying PAOK should be named champion again. I am referring to European places only.

Not for PAOK, I'm thinking more of the teams in the bottom. There would possibly be at least one change in the relegation spots and the chance to save yourself gone. pash
And the teams who are winning in SL2 don't deserve to be promoted? Giannina is pretty far ahead and is a shoo-in for promotion. Why should they get passed over in favor of a Panionios that they are better than?
