Vangelis Pavlidis - Willem II

Recommended Posts

Only 20 years old and learned his football in Germany with Bochum.

Has scored 7 goals for Williem II in 15 matches

Reminds me a little of a young Nikolaidis although a taller version.

If stays injury free, will have a good future I thinks

Another goal for Pavlidis. Converted a penalty in the rebound after Vrousai was brought down. His sixth goal so far in the League. Making him first top scorer in the League with Donyell Malen of PSV.

Almost HT. And Willem II leading 1-0.

Another goal for him this morning in a 1-2 away win against Heerenven, he also apparently hit the post late in the game.(He played the full 90)

The win takes Willem up to 3rd place on the table, they may end up in 4th by the end of the weekend depending on what PSV does.

Scored the opener today in Willem II's round of 16-game in the cup away against Heerenveen. With 10 minutes to play Willem II trails 2-1.

2-2 in 84'. Now 2 x 15 mins extra time.

Donis needs to get more playing time and regain form....hopefully he features for his club more often. Pavlidis and Fountas are both very fast and in good form....I'd like to see them start together om the NT with one playing as a false 9 against weaker sides. Fountas seems to have the golden touch as he is able to score in many different and even unusual ways atm...."ton theli h mpala" as they say and we really need to get some scoring happening.

Yes that sounds good hopefully JVS doesn't call up Koulouris for the October Nations league matches he is frustrating to watch he has missed a number of sure goals including a sitter in Italy that would have given Greece a 1 nil lead in the second half.
