Looks like Vagiannidis is on his way to Belgium and Sint Truidense for a season long loan from Inter.

Not overly surprising hopefully the kid is a starter in Belgium and gets some minutes under his belt! Lord knows we need right backs.

Odysseas Velanas, a 22 year old midfielder, of FC Utrecht B scored today in the match against Excelsior in the Dutch second tier called Eerste Divisie or for sponsorships reasons Keuken Kampioen Divisie.

Velanas originates from Samos and has Dutch and Greek citizenship. He played in the U17, U18 and U19 of the Netherlands.

Kyriakopoulos started his first match for Sassuolo since the international break, they beat Benevento 1-0 and moved up to 2nd place in the table. Kyriakopoulos played 83 mins before being subbed out (not sure if it was injury related or not)

Sassuolo could slide down to 5th after the full weekend of matches are played, but still impressive that they've had a such a great start to the season.

In the Dutch second tier - Eerste Divisie or Keuken Kampioen Divisie for sponsorship reasons - there are playing two other Greeks, well one is listed as Serbian, besides Iatroudis.

Giannis-Foivos Botos is playing at Go Ahead Eagles on loan from AEK till the summer of 2022.

Nikolas Agrafiotis was born in The Netherlands. His mother is Greek and his father Serbian. He is youth international for Serbia. He plays at FC Dordrecht.

Dimitris Emmanouilidis just scored his first goal for Fortuna Sittard. Against Emmen with just 10 men he equalized with a few minutes to play.

But made a foul in his own box in 87' and penalty for Emmen: 1-2. FT 1-3 btw.

Should have posted this earlier. We may have another Greek in the Eredivisie as Go Ahead Eagles were promoted after finishing second in the league. And his loan should normally be continued till next summer.

Alexandros Gargalatzidis will join Lithuanian side Suduva on a loan-base till the end of the season. As they have summer Championships in Lithuania this means he will return somewhere in November to OFI.

Former AEK-keeper Yiannis Anestis won the Swedish Cup with IFK Göteborg, beating Malmö FF 2-1 AET.

Anestis is still at Göteborg. Played all 68 League matches Göteborg played since his arrival. Good to see him performing well after the disaster in Israel.

Scored today for Suduva against Valmiera in Q1 ECL. Was the winner (2-1) in '90 from the spot.

Pavlidis left Willem II but there will be another Greek next season in Tilburg as Nikos Michelis joins "the tricolores" on loan base from AC Milan for one year.

That’s good for him. Michelis seems like he has talent. Hopefully he gets his chances.
