Antaeus7
So the Greek basketball federation decided to "hire" 2 African-American players to represent our country? Edited July 29, 2017 by Molon Lave
Dutch Eagle
ML, I did not know them either before they were in the preliminary squad, but both their mothers are Greek. Lea Tzimoulis is the mother of August. Samia Konstantinidou is the mother of Dorsey. And well, you know how Greeks are. Even if you are 1% Greek and 99% something else you are Greek. A passport is ready in an eyeblink.
Brklyngrk
In both of those players, they are half Greek through their moms. I see nothing wrong with them representing Greece as long as they identify as Greek.
NikotheGreek
Anyone think we can beat France?
Dutch Eagle
Why not, Niko?! But it's not necesarry to beat them. First four advance. But it would be wise not to end as fourth in the group as you have to face #1 from another group.

The scheduled match for yesterday was not played. Do not know why, but could be because they will face each other again in World Cup qualifiers in November 2017 and February 2018.
