Estonia vs. Greece (10 October 2016, A Le Coq Arena, Tallinn)

I can live with that side. I want to see Tachtsidis and Vellios get at least 25-30 minutes at some stage.

Let's be honest that anything less than 3-4 goal win would be a failure and I can see that happening but I'm still having thoughts of losing to Faroe Islands and Luxembourg. I think that Estonia aren't as good or no better than Luxembourg at least and are probably inferior to the Faroes.

Estonia are a poor side..with some very ordinary footballers..

however we need to win...to win need at least two goals..

in 2016 you need quick transition and slick movement to score..be it against Estonia or Belgium.

Its one of the biggest reason why we failed to beat crappy teams like  FI, NI Finland last campaign.

the maniatis - K.Pap combo is a huge concern...

100% lots of running and fouls but there will be no link up from the back..this coach does not rate Tachtsidis lets get of there with the 0-1 and hope all our guys stay healthy and get playing time.

expected line up.

------------------------------karnezis--------------------------

torosidis--------manolas-------sokratis---------stafylidis

---------------------maniatis-----kyriakos--------------------

--gianniotas------------mantalos----------------holebas--

---------------------------mitroglou-----------------------------

the possibility is(from what i have read) also that karelis wil start as left winger and holebas will be playing as left back. or maybe skibbe will again start bakasetas as RW stafylidis as DM. something like this

------------------------------karnezis------------------------

torosidis----------manolas-----sokratis---------holebas/stafylidis

--------------------maniatis--------kyriakos/stafylidis----

--gianniotas/bakasetas-------mantalos-----------karelis/holebas

-------------------------------mitroglou-----------------------

We are not Bosnia mate. 2 goals will be fine. We were never an offensive side, not under ranieri not under Santos. Why everyone expecting from one coach to literally change the team and its roster? Im going with 0-2 or 1-2 as a possible scoreline. Estonia is far worse than Cyprus, can't expect them to do anything other than some lucky counterattack or a personal mistake/penalty from one of our defenders (shiet happens).

105x68. And we won't gonna 11 defenders mode. Your attack isn't strong enough, so it is not very reasonable to park the bus :D

Well our attack isnt Belgium or Bosnia but Mitroglou Gianniotas Holebas Karelis and Mantalos should deal with your defence. Fortounis smart passes will be missing however.

I have been following the lines on this game on bet365 and we went from

-120 to  -105  and now we are +100 just before gametime.  The bettorsare not giving us much credit, this game has tie written all over it.

I prefer my line up but this is the Ethniki...

Holebas would have been good in this game and I hope Bakasetas has a better game than what we saw mid week.

Keen to see how Maniatis-Papadopoulos go

Come on Greece!!

Don't have high hopes for this combo. Maniatis will cover the ground and pester opponents, K. Pap will shield the defense, win balls in the air. But which one of these guys is expected to get the ball forward? Afraid we'll see a lot of sideways passing to the full-backs. Or Mantalos/Baka (whichever one plays 10) having to drop very deep to collect the ball.
