Giourkas
15 years have gone by.... Unbelievable... and to follow up on the announcer's comments about Basinas' goal 10 months prior to that in the match vs Juventus: Edited September 11, 2016 by Giourkas
Jimmy Prasinos
What I really love about that video besides the absolute beautiful goal by Sousa, is the priceless reaction of Karagounis and Basinas hugging Bazexa after he scores, you can see that they love him and deeply respect him, great moment

val
We did a lot of defending, kyrastas knew how to play in europe. Very mobile and capable midfielders contributing to multiple phases which meant that we could match it with some of the very best. The previous season, we overwhelmed that brilliant united side for good periods but were not proficient enough to beat them. We also had to dud goalkeepers in chalkias and nikopolidis. And many chances where wrongfully called offside... btw, I love those kits...

Jimmy Prasinos
Beautiful memories boys.. oh and is it a pure coincidence that the backbone of the Greece NT that won Euro 2004 was Panathinaikos?? That PAO team should have won a European trophy!

Giourkas
In the 1987 1/4 final appearance by PAO in the UEFA Cup, Saravakos finished the competition's top scorer. He scored this beauty vs Juventus and sent the old lady packing. The Italians wanted to buy him. Vardinogiannis said no. Οι «πράσινοι» έχουν αρκετά χρόνια να βρεθούν στη φάση των ομίλων (πιο συγκεκριμένα από το 2010), ωστόσο ακόμα κι έτσι διατηρούν την υψηλότερη θέση στο «all time club ranking» της UEFA.
