Both our rowing boats made it to the final races. At least one medal is expected there.

Today Korakaki is competing in the 25 m pistol and is doing very well. We can expect a medal here too.

Today the swimmers completely bombed out. Looks like after one of them got caught for doping they stopped drinking their "cocktails"

Yes there are realistic chances. Iliadis in the judo, men's water polo is going well atm, Stefanidi is a massive chance in the pole vault. Also rowing and gymnastics I have heard but can't remember the names.

Iliadis lost today, so no medal for him.

I think the only realistic chances we have is Petrounias in gymnastics and maybe 1 or 2 medals in rowing. Stefanidi has a chance in pole vault, but it will be tough. Watched little bit of the water polo game today, and the team looked very good. They might be in the running for a medal, but it will be very tough.

If you guys ask me would Greece ever gets positive results against Serbia and Hungary, I would say, no. This is a nice run so far, still too early to discuss medal contention.

Bad day for Greece last night and today. Brazil defeated Serbia in water polo, and if we don't beat them tomorrow we stand a very good chance of not qualifying to quartefinals of the competition.

Also today our two hopes for medals in rowing ended as we only got 4th and 6th place in today's finals. Our third rowing boat failed to qualify from the semifinals, so that means no medals in rowing.

The only bright spot today might be Kristian Golomeev in swimming who qualified to the semifinals of 50m Freestyle, with a good chance to make it to the final later today.

In the Men's Two Person Dinghi - 470 Sailing, after 4 races

1. Croatia; net 4 pts

2. Australia; net 7 pts

3. Greece; net 9 pts

Field is made up of 26 countries, and there are total of 10 races between 11-16 Aug with points awarded depending on finishing positions (1 point for 1st, 26 points for 26th). Each boat is allowed to discard its worst score, and 10 boats with lowest accumulated scores reach the final on 18 Aug. In the final, points scored are doubled and added to the opening series' scores to determine top 10 positions and medals.

Greeks are ranked 4th in the world in this sport.
