pash Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 This match will be bookended by games vs Asteras Tripolis (November 1st) and Panthrakikos (November 8th). I would assume that Tudor's preferred 11 will start vs Asteras, and any considerations for this game would be second to that. On the plus side, we can essentially play our youth squad vs Panthrakikos.

BostonThanatos Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Mak better get his head out of his ass....
Bananas Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Mak better get his head out of his ass.... And Klaus too.
Blackhawk Posted November 2, 2015 Author Posted November 2, 2015 The only way we can win this game is with some extreme luck and everything going our way.
Bananas Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 The draw away to Qabala is coming back to bite us. If we had won that game, a draw in this fixture, and even better one where we score aways goals might have been enough. Now, we virtually need to win.
Blackhawk Posted November 2, 2015 Author Posted November 2, 2015 Even if we tie on Thursday, we still need to beat Qabala at home and get a result in Dortmund. Highly unlikely. Must win on Thursday.
Blackhawk Posted November 3, 2015 Author Posted November 3, 2015 Not travelling to Krasnodar are Leaoac (1m noth out), Kace, Berbatov, Konstantinidis and Jairo (red card). Travelling to Russia among others are Cimirot and Kitsiou. Vitor is questionable and will most like start on the bench. Reports are that after the Tripoli disaster Tudor will switch to a 4-4-2 formation. let's see if he implements this on Thursday. If he does we might see something like this: --------------------- Glykos -------------------- Skondras - Costa - Malezas - Tzavellas Golasa --- Tziolis --- Sabo --- Rodrigues --------- Klaus ----------------- Mak ---------- Odd man out is Pelkas. Would prefer Charisis over Sabo and maybe Kitsiou over Golasa, even though Kitsiou is coming from an injury.
pash Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 I would take Golasa over Sabo any day. but Kitsiou as a RM would be excellent as well; the guy's so versatile.
Nea Bafra Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Sabo, he's clearly undroppable for some reason
italosPAOK4 Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 i dont believe Kitsiou is ready to help us in this game, if he wasnt injured before then it could be another story 1
BostonThanatos Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 He's going to go with a 4-2-3-1 --------------------Glykos--------------------- --Skodras---Costa---Malezas--Tzabellas-- ------------Tziolis------Charissis------------- --Kitsiou----------Pelkas---------Rodrigues-- ---------------------Mak------------------------ 1
pash Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 I'd like this, one of the best teams we could field. Hopefully Kitsiou is ready, but I do agree with itale
pash Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 This is the best forum on this site, I can understand the allure. All are welcome. Mak is a LW, can also play on the right. This season Tudor has been playing him as both an out-and-out striker and as part of the 2 in the 3-4-2-1 that we usually play (next to Pelkas). Turns out his absolutely ridiculous speed makes him an asset everywhere.
Blackhawk Posted November 4, 2015 Author Posted November 4, 2015 Boston's lineup is good, but as others said I don't think Kitsiou will start. Golasa might get the start as he has been quite good the last two games. I also have reservations about Mak being our lone striker. That's why I had a 4-4-2 formation. We'll see on Thursday. Of interest is also the fact that he is not taking Antonis to Russia. I would have to think that Sunday's game against Panthrakikos might be his last chance to get playing time.
maggica Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 krasnodar isn't that good of a team. But still, it will be tough to get a win in the russian cold. it doesn't help that kace and berbatov are injured. also, klaus is in poor form. anyhow, good luck to you guys. if you guys have your tactics right and a starting lineup similar to the one boston posted, a win is very possible.
BostonThanatos Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Kitsiou has been on pace to start in the match according to some reports....I guess we'll see. If he does start, I'm hoping he does so in good form, and doesn't become a liability.
Nea Bafra Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Kitsiou has been on pace to start in the match according to some reports....I guess we'll see. If he does start, I'm hoping he does so in good form, and doesn't become a liability. liability? if that's the case he'll fit right in
BostonThanatos Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 I don't know if I should laugh or cry...
Blackhawk Posted November 4, 2015 Author Posted November 4, 2015 Vitor has been ruled out for tomorrow, so will have to contend with the Costa/Malezas duo as CBs.
BostonThanatos Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 With 4 back there and Glykos in net, I'm not shitting my pants in anxiety at least...
pash Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Both of the lineups on the last page were better than what we had last time. I'm looking forward to this match.
BostonThanatos Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Arena's front page says Tudor is starting Klaus up front...
