Georgios Stefanidis, better known as ZOZE and a long time leader in the PAOK fan club movement as well as radio presenter passed away today. R.I.P.

I am a proud member of Melbourne Club PAOK.

Very welcoming, and the atmosphere and banter is another level.

I'm in Melbourne a few times a year to see family and I've never been to the club there. Where about is it Tahma? My knowledge of Melbourne's CBD and outer suburbs is fairly limited.

We?re quite good in the offense but we really need some new defenders and a goalkeeper. I just hope that Savvidis and the board don?t go for "quick-fixes" like 35 year old players that were good ages ago...

btw; Me and some others dudes run a page with articles about PAOK in Swedish so if any Scandinavian is interested just click the link :)

(Just came across this site/forum today; if it's prohibited to paste links into the forum I'll just delete the post)

PAOKSWEDEN do you know this PAOK club?

Dutch Eagle// From what I've heard the PAOK Sweden-syndesmo isn't an official syndesmo. As I've understood, PAOK Stokholmi is the only official syndesmo in Sweden. Regardless, they are both located in Stockholm and about 600 km away from me, unfortunately :/

I agree, the logo is nice.

Here are the fb links for both:

On February 28, PAOK majority shareholder Ivan Savvidis will be visiting New York City and will have a meeting with the PAOK Fan Club members located on 31-25 23rd Avenue (2nd floor) at 3:00 pm local time.

If you ever listened to any of the Thessaloniki sports stations, I am sure you have heard this guy Nikolas, who always talks about conspiracy theories with anything involving PAOK. If his rampages were not so funny, you would think he belongs in a loonie bin.

Nikolas is one of the original Gate 4 fan club leaders. It is said that he was the right hand man of Makis Manavis, the head of Gate 4 in 1970's and 1980's, also known as "Stratigos". Nikolas is one of the PAOKtsides that appeared with the legendary "pano" at the Olympiakos - Aris game that was deciding the 1980 championship.

Anyway, besides going on all this radio shows and stirring things up, he apparently attends low division amateur games as witnessed in the video below:

@Bananas Had not seen the article but I'm well aware of the syndesmo and have also spoken a few times with the chairman. It's the first of two syndesmoi here in Sweden and the guys are very active, supporting the club and its different departments whenever they get the chance!

(Admin, can you move my and bananas' posts to the syndesmoi-topic? http://forums.phantis.com/topic/14535-gate-4-and-other-paok-fan-clubs/)

Posts moved. The guy in the middle-right of that last pic looks like Tzavellas. No wonder he's popular.
