There is still a chance to salvage something out of this season, but to that we need to win this game. Is that even possible at point in time?

wow we seem to be trying to outdo ourselves by setting new lows every week.

At this stage we are looking at last spot and missing out on Europe, which I may add may not be a bad thing.

Obviously there are some serious issues in the dressing room to which Klaus alluded to in the post game.

We need to appoint a new coach asap and put a plan in place for the next season. This sh!t cannot happen again.

Yianko not sure what the fans jumping in and turning everything upside down would achieve, if anything would only serve to make things worse ? in the end it is just a game.

Klaus is also to be blamed for the pathetic showing by the team since December as well, but at least he feels for the team. The team has no plan, no vision, nothing. The players don't care, and the front office has not done anything to shake things up.

Right now all they did so far is throw money at the problem by bringing in Arnesen, but without any organization and vision he will fail as well. Hopefully he will come in and restructures the team, but it will be tough.

We will finish in last spot. There is no way we can get a win in Tripoli. That game is lost already. Mathematically we still have a chance to finish in 2nd place, but nobody, including the players believe in it. This might be a good game to field a team with youngsters from the U20 team.

Serraios if we finish in last place we will still play in Europe. The problem is we will have our first Europa League game in mid-July. There is just no way we can prepare for the upcoming season starting so early. We should probably make it to the group stage since we will be seeded in all of the draws, but there will be a lot of damage done starting so early.

Interesting interview.  Klaus said "the team is sick" and "players are putting themselves ahead of the team".  Fair enough, but without knowing specifics it just sounds vague from an outsiders perspective.  He said he'll elaborate after the last game but we'll see.  I hope it's not just vague observations like "the players aren't playing for the shirt".

The massive drop in level from the beginning of the year is bizarre.  Were we playing above ourselves at the beginning while other teams were still getting into their stride ?  Is where we are now, our "best" level.  Are the players unfit ?  If they are, that's no excuse.  When things began to fall apart, it was our defense that was the problem.  We could score but also conceded easily.  Now we can't score at all ;)

And if there are problems in the locker room, Klaus as a team captain should have come out earlier and address the situation. Perhaps we would have made a better showing in the playoffs.

I think the first half of the season, we did well because the players were fresh and playing to their full potential. But even then Anastasiadis only used 13 to 14 core players in every game. We had no back up players. Once the injuries and fatigue stepped in we had no answers. The so-called "electro shock" by replacing the coach backfired as well. It probably made things worse.

We got knocked out of Europe and the Cup earlier than usual, so the players had to play one game a week.  Not a big ask really.  The only excuse is if a player is carrying an injury which can affect them from getting back to 100% fitness.  Other than that, I don't buy fatigue as an excuse.  I think the fatigue is more in their brain ... it's a mental thing.

No the captain can't fix problems, but he can raise the concerns. He, Salpi and Glykos as captains should have brought up the problems to everyone's attention.

Nobody is bringing up the fact that there was a war between Vryzas and Anastasiadis from the start if not from the past two seasons. The hiring od Anastasiadis by Savvidis without having Vryzas step down first was a serious mistake.
