trikalinos1
As long as you don't live in USA, Canada and Australia plus few countries in Europe then it's a good deal
Blackhawk
Antenna Satellite/Pacific has the rights to the Greek Cup games, and they are actually showing the two early round games this weekend. One live and one on tape. Also notice a disturbing thing on Antenna Satellite's web site. They are apparently showing some of the Superleague games on tape delay instead of live despite the fact that there are no game conflicts. Blackhawk
Superleague has released the game schedule until Round 15. Here is the projected television schedule on my TV Schedule page. http://home.earthlink.net/~paokfc/GreekSoccerTVSchedules.htm The above link will be valid for a day or two. After that my TV schedules page will no longer be available.
Blackhawk
Where did you see that? Can you provide a link? I don't think it's the case.
Blackhawk
I think the Eurosport claim is wrong. Superleague games besides Greece are available legally only in Cyprus and Albania.

Blackhawk
On average they show 1 game each round. This is on their Latin American service only and not available on their US and Canadian networks.
Blackhawk
That schedule is for their US based network. Not the Latin American one. Blackhawk
Superleague has announced that it is seeking bids for the international rights for their games. Here are the details: http://08c0d41abab903a6a29e-5e91952c8074a6a4a4b1b4b8b070de43.r83.cf3.rackcdn.com/00IjVjsyJZnFcTQtyHAOBymVKxNJRUmM.pdf The rights are for the home games of the 15 out of the 16 Superleague teams. PAOK is not part of the bidding process. The rights are for all international rights excluding Greece, Cyprus and Albania. Just shows you how disorganized Superleague is. The season starts in two weeks and only now they are seeking bids for the rights. The bids have to be received by August 14, 2017
Blackhawk
Despite the lack of signed contract, all Superleague games this weekend will be televised by novasport in Greece. It's anybody's guess if the games will be available outside of Greece. However there is an emergency Superleague meeting on Friday where all the problems could be resolved. Blackhawk
Superleague and NOVA agreed to a new 2-year deal for the TV rights in Greece. The collective agreement is worth 30 million Euro and includes the 15 out of the 16 teams. PAOK has opted out of the deal. Instead they signed an exclusive deal with NOVA for one season. It basically means that all the games will be available on NOVA. This coming weekend NOVA will televise all the games in Greece, Cyprius and Albania. The above deal does not include the international television rights. That is a separate deal, which has not been announced yet, but may be in place, since Sport Plus is scheduled to televise 4 games in the USA, Canada and Australia this weekend. paokarag4
I just read that PAOK agreed for our games to be televised on Nova, and that goes for both in Greece and the rest of the world. Does that mean that paok home games will be on sports plus for those of us in Australia?
Blackhawk
Most likely.
Blackhawk
NOVA has just announced that it will not extend the collective agreement with Superleague for the 2018-2019 season. This basically means that unless the Superleague teams find another broadcaster (COSMOTE?) to pick up the collective deal, each team will be able to negotiate a television deal with any TV channel on their own just like PAOK did this season with NOVA. If this actually happens a lot of the small team will fall on hard times as they rely heavily on TV revenue. The biog 4 or 5 teams will have no problem finding a TV home.
