trikalinos1
I see people offering nova, ote etc again, how are they managing this in Australia? I've got all the regular Greek channels and that's it. One says $200 for box and $25 per month after for the pay channels in Greece and more from America and Europe...are these short term scams? At least with ert, mega etc you know they stream live from the website so getting it on a TV is fine. I've been playing around with nova catchup service on my android box, they update the Greek super league highlights almost immediately and some of the nova TV shows at the end of each round, they're just a bit unwatchable with all the buffering. Most likely they are scams. And nova web tv is horrible.
BostonThanatos
Still haven't figured out the darn paok tv rights? Man that sucks. Honestly, Savvidis should just broadcast it through PAOK TV for free to all the PAOKtsides abroad....

Blackhawk
This weeks Greek Cup games should be televised live on OTE Sports channels, but they lost a court battle for the TV rights, so it is not clear if they will still go ahead and show the games. Laola1.TV is also scheduled to stream quite a few of the games live. In USA, Canada and Australia, Antenna Satellite/Pacific are scheduled to show the AEK, Panathinaikos, Olympiakos games live and the PAOK game on tape delay. It remains to be seen if the court decision might prevent these games from being televised. Blackhawk
For the rest of the 2015-2016 season all PAOK Superleague home games will be televised exclusively via the Laola1.TV streaming service. Laola1.TV is a German based streaming service and it also shows selective Football League games as well as Greek Cup games.
Blackhawk
Panathinaikos changed their mind and agreed to join the Superleague collective TV agreement with Forthnet/Nova for the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 seasons. This is for the Superleague television rights in Greece. That leaves only PAOK as the only team that did not agree to this contract extension. Blackhawk
EPO has announced that the Greek Cup television rights for the 2016-2017, 2017-2018, and 2018-2019 seasons have been awarded to OTE TV. This is for the television rights in Greece.

Blackhawk
It's probably because the original signal originates from OTE TV and not Nova as is the case with Superleague games.
PAOKSWEDEN
Has someone tried Nova GO? It's 30 euro/month and includes the super league and the basketball league. Unfortunately I think you have to be living in Greece to get a subscription. Thinking on getting it the next time I'm in Greece and just have it on a relative's name. Blackhawk
PAOK has licensed the international television rights to their home games to Davnis Sports until the end of the 2016-2017 season. This probably means the end of Laola1.TV streams, as well as the possibility of PAOK home games coming back to either Sport Plus or Antenna Satellite/Pacific. The question is who else might be interested in showing the games. I really don't see any alternatives. Israeli agency pockets rights to PAOK matches Israeli sports marketing agency Davnis Sports is to sell the international media rights to PAOK's home matches in the Greek Super League. The company will distribute the rights globally - with the exception of Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria and Albania ? until the end of the 2016/17 season. A statement from Davnis said the deal also includes international betting rights, and invited broadcasters and agencies to express their interest. Thessaloniki-based PAOK, who competed in this season?s Uefa Europa League, are one of several Greek top flight clubs able to sell their own media rights as they are not included in the Super League's central rights deal. http://www.sportspromedia.com/news/israeli_agency_pockets_rights_to_paok_matches
pash
Davnis would not have purchased the rights if they had no plans to actually use them.
Blackhawk
True, but who would actually be interested to show those games besides Sport Plus and Antenna Group in USA, Canada and Australia? Since those two broadcasters are cooperating with Superleague/NOVA to collectively show the games, I don't see them buying the rights to PAOK games from the Israeli middle man.
pash
Unless the rights could be packaged in some deal that included something else this Israeli company already owns. Or they'll sell them for pittance to fox sports, for online-only consumption. That's all I want out of life, really.
Blackhawk
You really think Fox Sports would be interested in PAOK Superleague games? Really doubt that. They are probably going to get a deal in Europe before US/Australia, specially in the German market.
pash
Of course not. The only value PAOK games have to a company like that, would be possibly as a sweetener. What else does Davnis own?

Blackhawk
There are actually three different Gol TV channels. The original was a Miami based soccer channel, that was available on satellite and cable channels in the US. Eventually they got a license to broadcast in Canada and South America. Eventually they ran into financial difficulties and other companies acquired the Canadian and South American divisions. They are still called Gol TV, but broadcast different programming. As far as I know only the South American version of Gol TV carries Superleague games. An average they will show one game each round, and sometime none at all. leoforos
Can anyone let me know what my best options are to watch GSL in Australia? Greekoz
Earlier in the season I watched the olympiakos v aek match from the gol tv feed streaming, was about ant1 pacific quality. The best picture quality I've found this season is actually streaming from the 2nd division with ote links. Haven't had much luck finding gsl quality.
