La Mendel Posted June 13, 2015 Share Posted June 13, 2015 Positives Fetfa/Mitroglou/ Karelis Biggest weaknesses - Kone and Lazaros - low enegery, both had greedy wildly wide shots when they could have made through balls. Both need to improve hugely. Completely understandable why their club sides keep them far away from their 11s. Not so clear why Markarian persists with them as last game they were pitiful also. Faroe's goal came through Stafilidis being out of position and not having the speed to close down the winger that beat him. Xolebas would have probably done better, but Karagounis.. well he is an alpha male and he has been given powers - of course there will be problems. Samaris giving away meaningless fouls - overly aggressive, high elbows..give aways.. his poor NT form carries on. Holebas often was out of position too, but apart from this, a correct post. Forget about qualifying, right now you need to be very worried at what is actually happening. Greece is done for a good 10-15 years until hopefully the next generation can somehow produce something.
