Argy
Newcastle finished 1st in the Championship and have been promoted to the EPL for the upcoming season. Not a bad move if it materializes. Club is a downgrade but league is big upgrade. No CL though. Edited June 26, 2017 by Argy
Rockafeller Skank
if he is a starter/top sub/ and he doesnt roast in the bench It is a good move. His playtime at benfica was minimum anyways.
Dean97
Apparently he might go to Newcastle United. Does anyone believe this? I hope he goes and improves even more.

paokarag4
Samaris has finally renewed his contract with Benfica which was expiring at the end of this season. He has signed a 4 year extension, pretty big showing of faith from Benfica giving such a long contract to a player who turns 30 next month. Well done to Samaris for turning his season around and becoming an undisputed starter in the 2nd half of the season in Benfica's charge to the title. They are one game away from clinching it, 2 points clear of Porto with one match to go. https://www.to10.gr/podosfero/europe/634372/episimo-mechri-2023-stin-benfika-o-samaris/

Out of favour at Benfica and from the NT, it now looks like he may be playing a significant role for both in the next couple of years.

Sure, decent club, but it would be a big gamble for player pushing 30 that has already fallen out of favour several times in Portugal.
