paokara777
Mitroglou and Samaris both played in the second leg, tough night for them both as they went down 4-0. Apparently Mitroglou got next to no service. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/borussia-dortmund-4-0-benfica-9991079 Flip side Papasthastathopolos had a decent night Edited March 9, 2017 by paokara777

paokarag4
Benfica took on Porto in a top of the table clash. Game ended 1-1, with Jonas winning and converting a penalty for Benfica. Mitro played the whole 90 as did Samaris. The result keeps Benfica a point clear of Porto at the top of the table, with 7 games remaining. Looks like the title race is gonna go down to the wire. pash
Frankly shocked that article took so long to call him the Fulham Flop. It's his official title in the UK, after all.

I'm a huge Mitroglou fan and have always said he should always start for the NT cause he's a class above our other options even when barely anyone said he should. Icardi is captain at inter at like 22 and is only going to get better. Giroud not only is better than Mitro at striker but he's also a playmaker. Benfica is his sweet spot. js1000
27 League appearances for Benfica this season, 15 goals and another League title won, brilliant season for Mitroglou with a cup final to look forward to as well.
Greekaroos
Any news on how long Mitroglou will be missing from playing after that injury he picked up in the pre-season Emirates Cup tournament match against Inter Milan? He seemed to be pointing to his hamstring when explaining to the trainer.

Tzatziki
Supposedly Mitro has agreed with Marseilles, but Benfica wants about 25 while Marseilles is offering 20...I think his personality would suite him perfect at the French club.
Greekaroos
As long as he can stay fit & healthy he will score goals in just about any league. Especially in the Ligue 1 where just like in the Portugese Primeira Liga it is more attack oriented.
paokarag4
Played the full 90 and scored the equalizing goal in the 88th min, in Marseille's 3-3 draw with lowly Strasbourg.
