js1000 Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Mitroglou has signed a 4.5year contract with fulham and links up with giorgios karagounis at the premier league club. olympiakos will receive around
athinaios Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 This is risky for Mitro since he goes to a bad team (in relative terms) and if he fails to save Fulham, then what?
js1000 Posted February 20, 2014 Author Posted February 20, 2014 professionally its a strange move, to give up a super league winners medal and a probable greek cup winners medal and champions league football to sign for a team that's almost certain to get relegated is bizarre, however money talks mitro's gone from 12,000 euros per week to just over
Nikitas Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 a deal now with sporting is very close. fulham came down with their demands till 5 million so sporting and fulham seems to have agreed. soon mitro will fly to portugal to hopefully finish the deal. http://www.novasports.gr/podosfairo/portogalia/primeira-liga/article/230249/plisiazei-stin-sporting-o-mitroglou/ https://translate.google.nl/translate?sl=el&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=nl&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.novasports.gr%2Fpodosfairo%2Fportogalia%2Fprimeira-liga%2Farticle%2F230249%2Fplisiazei-stin-sporting-o-mitroglou%2F&edit-text=&act=url
MykinesFC Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 If this works out it might be the best possible scenario for Mitroglou. Freedom from Fulham and potential for the Champions League group stages. How well would he fit into the Portugese league?
Pistolero MTL Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Hi guys. I never knew this site existed!!! Ever since greeksoccer closed ive been like a lost pup. So since there is no introduce yourself section, i found it fitting i make my first post on a player i saw playing as a u19 striker live in 2007 and thought was the next big thing! ( way more than i ranked Ninis) So good to see a whole lot of familiar names on this site! Well thats it! So as for Mitroglou, Sporting suposedly are reluctant to take the guy on loan and pay 2mil euro salary. This is the last i heard. 2
Nikitas Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 welcome pistolero. he devinitely need to score more if the move happens.
Pistolero MTL Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 Hes been training with FFCs first team in Austria. Suposed to be playing half a game this weekend in theyre friendly if fit.
Nikitas Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 articles i read were saying that fulham and sporting agreed but now it seems they still cant agree on the buy out clausule. fulham wants 7 million but sporting dont want to go higher as 5. now the name of shaktar donetsk comes into play. https://translate.google.nl/translate?sl=pt&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=nl&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fpt.blastingnews.com%2Ffutebol%2F2015%2F07%2Fsporting-deixa-mitroglou-em-stand-by-e-shakhtar-entra-em-cena-00485929.html&edit-text=&act=url
Nikitas Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 the latest transfer developments around mitroglou. https://translate.google.nl/translate?hl=nl&sl=pt&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fpt.blastingnews.com%2Ffutebol%2F2015%2F07%2Fsporting-miguel-lopes-pode-desbloquear-mitroglou-sarr-foi-confirmado-no-charlton-00491235.html
Nikitas Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 thats probably what needs to happen but not much news lately about that. trabzonspor came with a better proposal but mitro still prefer sporting over them. https://translate.google.nl/translate?hl=nl&sl=pt&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.abola.pt%2Fclubes%2Fver.aspx%3Ft%3D4%26id%3D562561
MykinesFC Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 (edited) Seems to have impressed coming off the bench for Fulham on Saturday against Crystal Palace. Odd to see him in a Fulham kit. I wouldn't mind seeing him there until January and perhaps proving his value for the January transfer market. Edited August 2, 2015 by MykinesFC 1

Chris Tsamados Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Highlights from Fulham vs Crystal Palace: http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2015/august/03/palace-highlights
Doxa Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 Can someone enlighten me why Fulham is so crazy'?? They have their most expensive player in the squad again you'd figure they would play him as a starter considering they are in th 2nd league. And then still aksing crazy money from Sporting? They prefer to keep him, not play him and proberly pay him the highest salary of the club for another year?
Nikitas Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 ^maybe they think if they keep him they have more chance of promoting and that his value will increase if he score alot of goals. the chance that his value drops even more has a bigger chance if you ask me plus his wage is big also so they should sell him this window. sporting now increased their offer with 1 million so its now 6 million they offered but fulham still seems to want 7 and not a penny less. https://translate.google.nl/translate?hl=nl&sl=pt&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.noticiasaominuto.com%2Fdesporto%2F431276%2Fleoes-aumentam-parada-e-mitroglou-e-o-seu-melhor-aliado
pash Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 They don't want him because he's a living breathing example of their poor decision making.
Chris Tsamados Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 The fans seem to be warming to him. Plus the Crystal Palace game was only a friendly, hopefully there'll see sense and start him in their first game of the season on Saturday (against Cardiff).
Nikitas Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 he was linked with benfica before but they later said that that was not true , now he is being linked with them again. benfica wants to pay the 7 million buy out clausule that fulham asked and that sporting not want to pay at the moment. https://translate.google.nl/translate?sl=pt&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=nl&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.zerozero.pt%2Fnews.php%3Fid%3D159389&edit-text=&act=url https://translate.google.nl/translate?hl=nl&sl=pt&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.noticiasaominuto.com%2Fdesporto%2F431763%2Fbenfica-maos-largas-quer-roubar-reforco-ao-sporting after italian club sassuolo made an offer for him now also palermo is interested. https://translate.google.nl/translate?hl=nl&sl=it&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.calciomercato.it%2Fnews%2F343214%2Fcalciomercato-palermo-proposto-mitroglou.html
MykinesFC Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Excellent! With Andreas Samaris already established there this could be good. Hopefully Samaris and Mitroglou can bring their Benfica form to the NT!
pash Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 This is a good move for him, gets to play Champions League with a good team. Hope this works out for him.
Dikefale11 Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Lucky man, needs to have a good season to make up for the Fulham blunder. Very big year for him.
