georgelaz
Karnezis's seemingly winning the mental game against Dzeko as he skys a penalty and a header in Udinese vs. Roma. Might be looking to into this, but his angers seems to have got the best of him to take composed shots. Good sign for Greece vs Bosnia 2. http://www.fullmatchesandshows.com/2017/01/15/udinese-vs-roma-highlights-full-match-2/
Rockafeller Skank
If you look at his career outside the box, he is the player who was bought to replace Handanovic. Playing for Udinese aint much, but replacing the gap Handanovic left AND STILL winning player of the year awards means something. Very solid at PAO too. 1-2 mistakes (not being good at penalties) and some non responces are everything about Karnezis conversations, and that's totally misleading. Argy
Skibbe will likely lean on the more experienced Glykos.

Argy
I am not familiar with Udinese's depth in goal and who they have in their pipeline, but seems strange they would loan out a player many considered one of the better keepers in the Serie A. Premier League not a bad spot to land though. Edited August 31, 2017 by Argy
Brklyngrk
They loaned him out to play this young Italian gk, who along with the Milan gk - is considered one of Italy's top prospects...
Argy
Watford and Udinese have the same owner, Giampalo Pozzo, so this move makes even more sense now. Good on them for loaning him to a quality league where he will play instead of having him battle for starts with a 21 year old in Italy. Greekaroos
He also owns Granada where Karnezis was on loan during the 2013/2014 Spanish La Liga season but now have been relegated down a division. Hopefully Karnezis can get a decent amount of matches under his belt at Watford & most probably get a permanent contract if he helps then stay in the EPL. It's not going to be easy with Gomez being a regular part of the team in the last couple of seasons.
Polikastano
Karnezis was a back up at Watford from the start. He got in the game today im assuming Gomes got injured. And .... he couldnt stop a penalty which gave Everton the win . What else is new.
Argy
You think it's easy stopping a penalty?
paokarag4
Perfect penalty, he dove the right way, there was no stopping it. On the first goal watford conceded he had a bad case of greek keeper come over him as he charged out of the box to a ball he was never gonna reach and got rounded and Everton made it 2-1. Holebas should have dealt with the ball but Karnezi had no right coming that far off his line when he had a defender between him and the ball.

Boxou
he had saved a couple when he was in udinese. anyway i don't get it why people are bashing karnezis thinking it's easy to save a penalty. probably you're one of those who started blaming him for the costa rica game meanwhile costa rica played with a man down for abotu 60 minutes and still we couldn't utilize our chances. im fairly convinced the hate of karnezis started back then.
Rockafeller Skank
Karnezis has stopped penalties both at Getafe and at Udineze. We can blame him all we want but the fact that his career is what it is, with teams all over the top championships I think we re on the wrong here. Omonoia9
I'm in the "it's tough to stop penalties" camp. Was he outdueled by Navas? Sure, but Karnezis would be very low on the list of reasons we didn't win that game.
pash
The only way I can blame a GK for not stopping a penalty, is if he decides to start fapping it right there in the middle of the stadium instead of trying to stop the ball.

Remember it was Glykos who started one of the game in the group stage... might have been wiser to keep with glykos as he played well.
