Irlandos
Cyprus champions AEL were drawn to play in the 2nd qualifying round of the CL against the winners of the 1st qualifying round encounter between Linfield of N. Ireland and B36 of Torshavn (Faroe Islands). The likelihood of AEL traveling to the Faroes is very slim as I expect the Belfast blues to easily pass through that test and face AEL. Irlandos
Surprise of surprises: Linfield drew 0-0 v. B36 Torshavn in Windsor Park! AEL could be making an unfancied trip to the Faroe Islands unless Linfield accomplish in Torshavn what they failed to do in Belfast.
Irlandos
It will be AEL - Linfield as Linfield drew again 0-0 in Torshavn and then beat B36 4-3 on penalties!
Omonoia9
The surprise Cypriot champions AEL Limassol host Northern Irish champions Linfield in the first leg of the 2nd round of UEFA Champions League qualifying. AEL have a long way to go to match last year's Cypriot representative. Can they start their own quest right?
