Armenia - Greece

The game looks like an early-season friendly with many errant passes.

Greece has far more potential but are not pressing.

On the plus side: Sifakis seems alert and made a brilliant instinct-save in the 48'

Samaras takes it ...

their keeper holds!

Bad second half so far. The commentators are going on about their keeper bing a record holder in Russia for holding 14 penalties this season. That's nice, but shooting it straight down the middle (or well ... slightly to the right) wasn't the best choice either imho ...

End of the game, Armenia 0-1 Greece!

Good test and I think there's a lot to learn still from that second half. For those that didn't know yet, our first EURO 2012 game is 8th of June (vs hosts Poland)!

I missed most of the 1st half but from what I saw:

The team is playing well below its potential. They need to practice passing and set plays.

Samaras is good but only at times.

Salpi and Gekas are sub-par.

Kyriakos Papadopoulos looked good in defence. His companions were shaky.

Sifakis does not look rusty

Holebas is sub-par

Fetfa and Maniatis have potential
