The squad list came from the EPO site (WWW.EPO.GR) Most players on the squad are youngsters from B' and C' Division clubs, or from the youth teams of the A' Division teams. I doubt very much that you will read or see anything about these players in the press, since the Greek press rarely provides information about the Greek youth teams.

In the last two games of the qualifying group Greece managed the following results: GREECE - Wales 0-0 GREECE - Hungary 1-2 The final standings in the group: 1. Hungary 5-2 6 points 2. Greece 6-2 4 3. Wales 2-3 4 4. Feroe Islands 3-9 3 We managed to qualify thanks to a shock result, where Wales lost to Feroe Islands 3-1 in the last game of the qualifying tournament.
