athinaios
Typical business in Greece, which shows how things "work" there. I got old waiting for a proper home for our team. Even in this forum, back some 12-15 years ago, we were excited to hear that the new PAO home (not at Leoforos) would be ready for the 100th anniversary which was in ..2008. Jimmy Prasinos
I friend of mine visited the stadium last week, they removed the seats and re-did all the cement under the seats as you can see in the picture posted by Reaper. Also the new loges are under construction Edited July 20, 2016 by Jimmy Prasinos
Jimmy Prasinos
Not a new tier, if you look above in the pics you posted, right above the seats are VIP loges those are currently under construction/renovation
Panatha4Life
We are playing our Europa league game on the 28th which is next week and new seats are to be placed on the main stand and behind the goal (gate 13) also the VIP suits are expected to be fitted. The next week is going to be a mad rush working on the re-developments. Regarding the new tiers on both sides, if im not wrong we have yet to receive the license for this so there will probably be delays. Hopefully everything goes to plan. KOLOSSOS13
Although I doubt it, I really hope all the plans will become reality. I saw my first match at Leoforos in April, and I was shocked by how horrible it was, even if my expectations were extremely low. Its by faaaaaar the worst stadium I've ever been to. No team with ambitions can have a stadium like this.
athinaios
Did you guys hear about lending the stadium to PAS for their euro game? PAO said offered to help PAS, and announced it, but when some fans objected management took back the offer. What do you think about it? Should a Greek team help another that's playing a Euro game? PhillyG13
Pas screwed us with the fog game a couple of years ago. Fck them and christovasilis! Hearing they are playing in atromitos stadium now and rightfully so.

Jimmy Prasinos
How many of those seats will get destroyed? and then we say we want a new stadium! Kaaaaaala!
Triffili04
Gate 13 stand should be a standing section. Gate 13 stands all game anyways. Lots of stadiums in Germany have it and I think Celtic just did it too.
athinaios
How much is to rent one of those apartments overlooking the stadium? B) It might be cheaper than the season tickets...

KOLOSSOS13
Standing sections are not allowed in UEFA competitions, and I'm 99% sure it ain't allowed in superleauge either, unfortunately.
KOLOSSOS13
Yes, because this is allowed in Germany. Those are all German clubs. But as I said, I'm rather sure it's not allowed in the Greek super league.
Green Man
^^^it should be allowed really.. stupid rule in my opinion...but i guess it won't make a difference now the seats will be stood on anyways:)
KOLOSSOS13
Yeah I totally agree with you, it should been allowed. It would have increased the capacity.
KOLOSSOS13
The problem isn't Alafouzos, it's Greece and it's paper mills. It is in Alafouzos interest that the stadium gets upgraded, as Leoforos at it's current form creates minimal financial income. VIP boxes, the new restaurant and higher capacity will improve that somewhat. What Alafouzos was bullshitting about was getting the building permit within July. Come on we're in Greece, we'll probably never get it, at least not this soon. He knew that all along.
Giourkas
The best way to shut them up (although hard) is to beat them in their stadium (again). they are stupid. Never insult an opponent. You never ever give them added motivation...
