Well, one of the things that gets foreign coaches who work in Greece is that they don't understand how it works. They think, "it's ok, we lost some points but the other team will too at some point." Reality is, Olympiakos will stumble only on a couple of games per year. One way or "another" they will take the rest. We don't have the "another" capabillity, so we have to take advantage of the few lost points. We can't draw at home against a decimated Asteras team after they draw at Giannena and expect we'll be ok.

The coach must be treating all games as if they are finals. You can't be resting players and only play them when they are 100%. If we were playing in the CL final would we be resting Karagouni because he is not 100%? I say we would throw him in even with half a leg for as long as he can go (assuming he wants to play).

If the coach does not know the Greek reality then Antoniou or Pateras should make sure he does.

We had the world at our feet a couple of weeks ago being on top of the table, playing decent ball, and having a chance to go up 4 points on Olympiakos. Best, the fans were embracing the team with over 40k showing up against Asteras. Since then we went through one draw and two hands-down defeats. Way to knock the wind out of our momentum.

As you pointed out Athinaie, now we are under the pressure not to lose any more points. We fall behind another two and it can be ugly. Today, even die hard fans like me becoming skeptical of the teams resolve. It's a good opportunity the team begins gaining back the momentum they lost. Dips in form are inevitable in a long season and let's hope we put this one behind us with a convincing victory against Atromitos.
