plato-ny
Greece will play the USA in the final of the FIBA U19 2009 tournament. The U.S. has been undefeated but struggled to beat Croatia in the semi 81-77. Greece beat Argentina, in the quarterfinal, by 16 points, and beat undefeated Australia, by 15 points, on their "home turf". The USA beat Greece in division play by 16 points but Greece is playing their best ball right now while the USA had their recent game be their most difficult meaning the USA is beatable. Also, this is the same Greek team that won the U18 tournament in Europe last year. The game will begin, in Greek time, at 10:30 AM, and 3:30 AM EST. Go to FIBA.com to follow the game online via the scoreboard. So.... SIKOSE TO, TO TIMIMENO, DEN BORO, DEN BORO NA PERIMENO!!!! Make it 1995 all over again..... or even better... like the FIBA 2006 WC semi......Greece 101 USA
plato-ny
Greece lost to the USA 88-80. But, Greece has a good future. Every since winning the gold in Eurobasket 2005 and silver in FIBA WC 2006, Greece U18 has won gold and silver in 2008 and 2007, respectively, and silver in the FIBA u19 tournament of 2009
