Greece held the Games back in 1991 and will host them again in Volos and Larissa in 2013. In the 2005 Mediterranean Games in Spain, in division play, Greece tied Tunisia 1-1 with a goal by Arampatsis and lost to first place Algeria 1-0 but managed to qualify for the quarterfinals where they lost to Turkey 1-0. Greece won gold twice in soccer.
