Crazy Posted April 15, 2008 Share Posted April 15, 2008 Olympiakos will be facing Thrasivoulos for the second game of the semifinal stage of the greek cup.After our hard win with a 3-2 in the first game Olympiakos should not be relaxed and needs to play hard and good in order to get the ticket for the final. Crazy Posted April 16, 2008 Author Share Posted April 16, 2008 Olympiakos will be missing for this game:Zevlakow,Antzas,Sisic,Torosidis,Patsatzoglou and Nikopolidis with injuries,while Djole and Mitroglou are suspended.Our starting line up will propably be:Sifakis,Pantos,Papadopoulos,Cezar,Domi,Belluschi,Ledesma,Mendrinos,Nunez,Kovacevic and Konstantinou. The 1st was the Greek league's version of Van Basten's famous goal! :P Nunez played an inch perfect long diagonal ball to Kovacevic who volleyed it in the far top corner. The 2nd was a through ball by Nunez which was probably a little over hit but Konstantinou showed some good pace and athleticism to get there before the defender and slide the ball home! :tup: The 3rd: After 2 assists Nunez deserved his goal. A great cross by Pantos from the right to the back post, where Nunez rose to head powerfully karfota in the net. Nunez really should play more!! Their goal came from poor defending but the kid showed nice control and cool head to take his goal well. Thrasivoulos also missed a penalty, hitting the post. Only Sifakis knows what he was doing in his attempt to save it, he didn't dive, he just seemed to fall over!! We really do need a better keeper to challenge Nikopolidi next year. Nunez had another great game. He should start for us in the superleague next year, especially if we are going to play more attacking. How long is his contract? Konstantinou was good too. Im surprised how much speed he has for a big guy, whos getting up there in age. Darko also played really good. Everyone out there was pretty good wedsenday Kyryakos Papadopoulos is going to be some players. I thuoght his confidence would have been rattled the first play when he coughed up the pentaly and got a yellow card. But still as the game went on he just got better, and better. He is going to be something for olympiakos and greece. And Lomana didnt look like he missed a second of football. He came in and brought such a spark. Best footwork in greece by far.
