Larisa have been on fire since January! Zurawski and Metin both scored again today in their 5-1 win over OFI.

Looks like the hunt for the UEFA Cup spots in the league will be very exciting indeed!

Kouyia, another s.hit stain on our national soccer.

I don't condone what Kougias did post-match. It reflects poorly on Greek football and narrow minded idiot types will say this is what Greek society is like which is a massive generalisation but Degra is a total stuff up.

He was a disaster at Asteras. They should never have signed at Larisa so they got what they deserved.

These Greek presidents are running their clubs like neighborhood dive bars, why can't they just sit in their box suites and try to pretend like they might have an idea of what professionalism looks like.

I agree with you Tzatziki.

There are some exceptions but look at all the club owners in Greece and they are all over the media and make their presence known.

Asteras Tripolis owners are possibly lower-key than Kougias, Melissanidis, Marinakis, Alafouzos and Ivan for example.

This isn't just limited to Greece.

In Italy, Romania, Ukraine and Russia owners also court attention.

Berlusconi used his exposure as AC Milan owner amongst other ventures to launch his political campaign.

In any case, Kougias is no different to a thug like Melissanidis but where Meli has his hired goons do the dirty work in private, Kougias was photographed.

How the club owners act is a reflection of Greek football and its IQ

A reflection of Greek society perhaps.

Larissa has 10 points. 7 of these points come from teams that are play off contenders.
Win against Oly. Win against Panionios. Draw with Panathinaikos. This team is probably not trying enough with low-tier teams, otherwise it would hit play offs. I really hope AEL and Iraklis, 2 teams worthy of being in the top fly, stay. Adding Aris and OFI who I hope can come up this year, the GSL will be complete that way.

Unfortunately they have been relegated l. Perfect opportunity to ditch that bozo Kougias and move back into their stadium. They have potential for a big fan base.

They played at their stadium this season. Just heard that Kosta Frantzeskos (PAOK, PAO, OFI legend) will be joining Larisa. Why would someone be signing with the sleazebag Kougias is beyond me.

Yes, very good coach for their youth squads too. City had a party at the extraction of Kougias, who can blame them

I’ve been following some of their fan pages on Instagram, they had a pretty large showing for their new season under new ownership. But it seems like they’ll be playing in Alcazar rather than AEL Arena this year. Instead, another team from Larisa is playing in that stadium lol.

AEL Arena belongs to Pilidakis and the current ownership of AE Larisa does not want to play there due to high rental prices.

Greece is full of morons lol. What kind of an arrangement is that? Makes as much sense as the lack of trash cans to throw garbage away when I was in Santorini or Paros last week.
