JOHNNY
Brewster stated in the press on Monday that he is considering returning to Greece to end his career. At 37, does anyone reckon a top division club will give him a chance? I expect he will eventually take up coaching, but is hoping to play for at least one more season. His club Dunfermline have offered him a new contract 50% less than his current one, which has been rejected.

Batigol
Don't really know if there will be the interest or the money to sign Brewster. He had his time in Greece and it was good. I'm just not sure if it'll happen again.
JOHNNY
Brewster has finally resolved contract talks with Dunfermline, with the veteran striker agreeing a 12 month extension to his present deal. The deal will take him just 7 months short of his 39th birthday. For anyone still wondering who we are talking about: http://www.dafc.co.uk/squad/teamdetail.asp?PlayerID=10 For any Kalamata fans, refer also to Lee Bullen: http://www.dafc.co.uk/squad/teamdetail.asp?PlayerID=
Evergreen
What ever happend to Stephen Tweed that played a season for Ionikos. He went to Greece with Big Craig, only to leave at the end of the season.
JOHNNY
I watched him make his league debut with Brewster against Apollon back in 1996. I think he got injured in that game, and never really got back into the side. He came back home and told of his nightmare season in Greece. The newspaper headline was 'My pain in the Ath'. Don't you love tabloids!! He signed for Stoke City, then Dundee, and finally went to German 2nd division side Duisburg in the summer of 2001. Not heard the slightest whisper of him since then. JOHNNY
Big Craig has finally put pen to paper and signed up for another season at Dunfermline. The fact that his contract has been reduced by 50% (money terms not length) is a reflection of the financial difficulties being faced by Scottish clubs, and not his form. Once again, he has been one of the most consistent performers in the league - despite his advancing years and greying hair. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...tic/3729279.stm
