If JVS doesnt make the required starting team adjustments along with correct game management, Giorgos Donis should be employed in June 2021.

Problem is Ethniki can't score in a brothel (with or without the fishtanks).

Starting line up. two changes
Bouchalakis and pavlidis out for Kourbelas and Giakoumakis
Βλαχοδήμος, Μαυρίας, Χατζηδιάκος, Τζαβέλλας, Τσιμίκας Ζέκα, Κουρμπέλης ,Λημνιός, Μπαkασέτας Φορτούνης Γιακουμάκης.
Our strong point with this team, the ultra attacking flair of Koubelis and Zeca.....'Yes'!

If we put aside our differences on JVS to get along for the one final game, there’s no saying what mankind can’t do! @Boxou and I are now on the same side. And in honor of that matrimony I will say something negative about JVS and hopefully he says something nice about JVS ..ok here it goes.... JVS has made some questionable decisions what it comes to choosing the starting 11, also I hate his turtleneck that he wears on gameday. Is it too much to ask for a shirt and tie?
I never thought I would ever say, 'I love your style' friend, the fact you have turned over a new leaf!
Despina came over for some milk and some origano again and she also echoes my sentiments as well!

This was a wholly correct prediction, I would like to admit that! Chatzidiakos - Tzavellas, and Fortounis was really important.
But for the (blessed) injury of Giannoulis, we wouldnt have seen Kyriakopoulos, a Serie A defender, and but for the absence of Mantalos Fortounis would have started on the bench. We were a bit lucky against Moldova (some injuries/sicknesses can be blessings in disguise - I know it is a mean thing to say this).
You are Mean re La Mendel!

We manage to scrape a win against Cyprus, meanwhile Scotland have just qualified for the Euros.
Just let that sink in.

True but the team was totally different in the 2nd half due to being a trial. No chemistry but just to see some individuals.

Ok what has happened to Mario Vrousai?

Hello Everyone! We couldn't believe our ears when we heard there was an active Greek soccer community!
Glad to see the majority were as positive about yesterday's performance as we are. Now we just need to cross our fingers and hope JVS continues with the great showing we saw and not reverting to some of the miserable lineups with players out of position we saw in the past.
Also thought it would be worth mentioning that since the Covid restart, Greece has maintained the highest match tempo it has EVER had since game data has been available. Greece is averaging 17.83 passes per minute of pure ball possession. We certainly are playing much more free flowing!
Love your pod boythes!

Lykogiannis has been called up to replace the injured Giannoulis. It's not expected anyone is going to be called to replace Mantalos and Svarnas, given there were already 27 players called up.
With Svarnas out, its basically a lock that Chatzidiakos and Tzavellas will start at center back in the Nations League games. The friendly will probably be Lampropoulos and Michailidis.
The Mantalos out opens up a spot in the starting 11, will JVS go with the safer option in Masouras or will he start Fortounis who against the parked bus that will be Moldova will be important.Actually the more I see it yes, Tzav will be one CB and the lovechild Baka and captain will be the AM so, Fortounis might play at LW to get a start, or JVS might play Pelkas at LW. I don't agree with alot of that tbh.
One thing I have appreciated for a while is that the Ethniki don't have players older than 32, which is in line with most notable football nations.
If lovechild must be there, then a different formation might do it:
U Grik (3 4 1 2):
Vlaho
Mihailithis Hatsi Tsav
Mavrias/Rotu Zeca Bouch Masouras
Fortounis
Bakasetas (c) Fountas/Giakoumakis
-
Vlaho
Mavrias Mihailithis Hatzithiakos Tsimikas
Zeca Bouchalakis
Fortounis (c)
Limnios Giakoumakis Tzolis/Masouras
We know he will pick Kourbelis as DM, Bakasetas (c) at AM and Pelkas in at LW.

Don’t know. I think Masouras or Tzolis should start on the left wing. He should call Chatzigiovannis up to see what he’s got.
Giannis BOUZOUKIS (& Giorgios Baldock)!
-
Can't comment on squad as I can't find the bastard anywhere!
-
Baldockidis works too.
-
Petros Imvrios and Kostas Makedonas, who else??
-
Winter must grab JVS by the balls or his ear and demand he plays two AM's. Kostas and Petros.
