This is probably true. On a more realistic front I always suggested that England would do better if they didn't pick the Rooneys of the world and instead take the slightly lower players who don't make the millions but really want to shine on the international stage. It's the same reason weak teams sometimes do well as they give it their all.

I said during the Finnish game that the big back three should call it quits (or not be invited back).

If you want to change the culture of this team then you go with a clean slate and go with youth who don't think GREEK futbol.

Ever game is the same, no skill, no speed - only back passes, safe plays and long balls and maybe you get a lucky header.

Watch the other games, watch how they play as a team and can do all the basics. Move the ball, make passes, collect passes, make the smart play and be in the game from the start.

Someone should get 20 Greeks from the diaspora and challenge the national team. I like their chances.

Good for Liechenstien by the way

Hope they party all night with their result.

In reality the team from the diaspora may seriously end up as winners.

I don’t know why Sokratis and Manolas are so adamant about having Torosidis in the team. I know they are good friends but Torosidis is not the player he used to be. I also think Sokratis and Manolas can’t handle the dressing room by themselves. They need Torosidis for that as I believe he is a good leader for that and they aren’t. The team seems divided because if this. I hope it’s not the case.

Dean baby, if Toro, Sok and Manolas don't aim up in these two games, Skip will  ask Valkanis and Winter to carry their bags to the bus stop.

I don't know why, I would like to see Grammenos and Alefantos have a wrestle.

  3. Van Skip is going to compress the defence cause there were too many gaping holes that teams were punching through. The structure will be typical of the Greek teams prior to 2014 World Cup, stubborn defence and one goal results in next the two matches. Manolas, Sokratis and Zeca screening should look more effective this time around.

Greece will be put to the sword and their campaign officially over.

Im sorry to be the one to say it. This team has no balls left. Nothing left to believe.

Another tournement watching from the outside in. It's becoming the normal

What players not selected would of rendered this team as one that has balls then? Mitro, Donis & Koutris..they haven't got game yet.

  5. Yes but a scholar like you can concede that Yokohama are not in Australia.  Another shocking judge Bielsa, openly said recently he wants to coach the Socceroos as they are becoming dangerous and the league is finally growing-his words ofcourse. Whats with your Canadian Euro snobbery bruz? I know Lazo won't put up with that.

I might mention this to the Aborigines..they can be intimidating, just watch them doing the Zorba on youtube...

  6. Van the Skip, has a coaching philosophy. Press high up the pitch and attack with speed on the counter. He has a Greek style of head too.  I hope  the Greek players accept this guy. Us forumers though..forget-tit! He won't pick 6 attacking midfielders and play them as Wingers and Fullbacks like the other ameteurs before him
