  2. It was either Rapto or Kokkinos, but they said that THEY heard from another source in the business.  He said-She said....

I would not trust anything the clown Raptopoulos and his puppet Kokkinos are saying. The others (Kolkas/Tzorbatzoglou, etc.) will twist the truth to fit their agenda.

  3.  PAOK listed Tziolis as starting as a centre back, anyone who saw the game can you guys confirm this? We know he can't play there, so put that down as a cross against Tudor.

Yes, Tziolis was the CB along with Malezas, and I have to say that they did a decent job. It was Skondras that cost us the game. Tudor really did not have many option for CB's as he decided to sit out Costa due to all complaints about him. On top of that Vitor is injured. This really shows that Arnesen made a huge mistake not getting any CB's during the transfers in the summer.

Hopefully Leovac and Konstantinidis can get healthy enough, so we don't have to rely on Skondras again. We also miss Kace in midfield.

  4. Anytime you score 3 goals in a game, you should not be losing or tying the game.

Very poor defense once again. Skondras shares blame on 2 of the 3 goals. If Arnesen does not get defensive help in January it will be a major mistake.

Way too many points dropped because of poor defense. I can think of at least 7 points.

  5. Latest call ups for upcoming games:

SENIOR NT:  Tzavellas, Tziolis, Pelkas, Athanasiadis, Kitsiou  (friendly games against Luxembourg and Turkey)

SWEDEN NT:  Olsen  (2016 Euro playoff game)

U21 NT: Konstantinidis, Charis plus loaned players Giannoulis, Pouggouras  (U21 Euro qualifying games against Liechtenstein and Hungary)

  6. I am basing that on the following:

    - The players will have more time to gel as a team.

    - Some important players will overcome their injuries (players like Cimirot, Berbatov, Leovac) and will be able to help the team.

    - The schedule should be lighter without Europe

    - And finally I believe that in January we will get 2 to 3 players to plug in some of the weak spot on the team.

The only thing that worries me is that we play all the big derbies away, but as long as we do well against the so called "easy" teams, those results will not affect us that much. And any positive results in those games will be a bonus.

  7. Sometimes I just don't understand the organized fans and their decisions. They decided that in protest to governments plans to introduce a fan ID cards they will abstain from attending Sunday's game against Panthrakikos. All they do is punish the team and not the government officials. Their priorities are completely screwed up.

  8. Ashame to see PAOK lose to Krasnodar, thought they would win this one... now they are 4 points behind, they should have been 2nd for sure in this group.

PAOK's European fate was basically decided in the away game at Qabala and the home game with Krasnodar. If we had won those games we would have qualified. Another factor in my opinion was the early start in our European campaign. That pretty much prevented us from having any substantial pre-season preparation. That's why the team has ups and downs. I am pretty sure that we will have a solid 2nd half of the season. the main thing is to be ready for the playoffs and possible Greek Cup run.

The main goal of our European campaign was accomplished (Group Stage). All we have to do now get a win against Qabala and steal a tie in Dortmund in order to get some cash from UEFA and to add some points to our coefficient. This is important since our good season from 2010 will no longer count in the standings.

  9. 2:1 final score. Dismal game by PAOK. I expected much better. We were never in the game.

The Round of 32 is now a dream. The minimum European goal for this season was accomplished, which was the group stage. Let's at least hope we have a good games against Gabala and Dortmund, and get some cash for winning and or/tying those games.
