If Vellios goes anywhere, he will go to Olympiakos. I don't rate him. Overrated player. Why would we need another Klaus on the team?
-
Looks like there 4 more possible injuries following Panionios game: Vitor, Sabo, Golasa and Jairo (who did not even play), so you might need to change that lineup pash.

Our final game in the group stage of Europa League against a major force in German football, Borussia Dortmund. We will most likely lose this game. I just hope it's not a blow out.
The game will be televised live on Fox Sport 2 in the US, TSN 4 in Canada and beIN Sports Connect in Australia.

I really did not think we would salvage a win after they tied the game. Only in the last 20 minutes of the game we pushed for the win. Kace and Konstantinidis coming into the game elevated the team in my opinion. Tziolis and Pelkas need some bench time. Rodrigues tried hard, assisted on the first goal, but then appeared tired. Klaus was invisible today. Best players for us on the field were Malezas and Konstantinidis. Tzavellas had one his better games as well.
Speaking of the Laola1.TV stream. I really don't like the fact that they now include a German language commentary for the game. I prefer the no commentary, with surrounding sounds of Toumba.
Additionaly, I've heard some complaints from older PAOK fans (seniors) who are not computer savvy. They can't understand why they can't watch PAOK games on regular TV. My 80-year old dad for example told me today; "I don't care to watch every horio game on Dish. I want to see PAOK games."

For a second game in a row, when things get tough, ref comes to the rescue with a questionable penalty.
-
Here is Tudor's lineup:
------------------------- Glykos ------------------------
--- Vitor -------------- Malezas ----- Tzevallas ----
Rodrigues ---- Tziolis ------ Golasa ------ Leovac
------------------------ Pelkas -------------------------
---------- Klaus --------------------- Mak ------------
Antonis was left of the 19-man squad. Cimirot and Sabo will be on the bench.
-
PAOKSWEDEN is right Costa is out for 3 months. I would dare to say, that he will not play another game for PAOK. Kitsiou is out too for one months as is Berbatov.
I don't see big difference between Glykos and Olsen, and since I was never big fan of Glykos, I prefer Olsen.
-
Let's see if the last two wins will lift the team and we can beat Panionios. Panionios is the surprise of the season so far, and they have quite a good offense.
Vitor might be available for the game. I hope that Tudor starts Cimirot.
My lineup for the game:
-------------------------- Glykos ------------------------
--- Vitor -------------- Malezas ----- Tzevallas ----
Konstantinidis -- Cimirot -- Kace -- Rodrigues
------------------------ Pelkas -------------------------
---------- Klaus --------------------- Mak ------------
I would prefer Olsen over Glykos, but I know that won't happen. I would use Cimirot, but I expect to see Tziolis instead of him. Golasa has been good lately, but I think Kace will start. I would also not be surprised if Mak sits this one out. In that case Jairo might start.
-
He showed some good things, but we need to see him (and Cimirot) playing in a game under pressure. Don't forget they entered the game when we were up 4:1 and Chania played with 10 men.

True, but this is the type of game you expect when you play teams like that and PAOK is in the rotation mode.
Both Cimirot and Antonis played quite well. I expect both of them to help the team down the road.
I think Korovesis was the weakest link on the team, and it appears that he might not even be good for the bench. He might be a good candidate for a loan.
-
Third post hit by PAOK.
Antonis playing well so far.
Sabo hatt-trick
-
Another big save by Olsen, but then he gifts Chania a penalty.
Olsen almost saved it.
-
Good save by Olsen. Must have been the first time he touched the ball in 2nd half, followed by two great chances by PAOK.
The score could easily have been 8:2 by now.
-
Pelkas 5:1
-
I think Cimirot will help a lot when starts playing on regular basisi.
Looks like Antonis is getting ready to get in.
-
I don't think they even had to try to score that one
1-0, Chania
-edit- I didn't even realize Olsen was out there. God he's garbage.
Olsen had nothing to do with the goal. Mistake was by Konstantinidis.
We played well after conceding the goal.
Cimirot, Golasa, Jairo and Sabo very good so far.

If Berbatov leaves in January, it will just prove that PAOK is really a small club.

In case of Berbatov, I would say that PAOK is a "small team" for a player of such caliber. We are not at the level, where we can handle such players. We are a "horio" in comparison to European class teams right now, playing in the only African soccer league in Europe.
In Savvidis's mind he might think that we are a top level European team, and that's why he is talking about bringing in Berbatovs, Ronaldinhos, etc. Instead of building a team from the bottom up, he wasted 3 years on various experiments. I really thought that with Arnesen/Tudor, we might finally be on the right track, but it's evident that we still have a long way to go.
-
Rumor has that Berbatov offered to buy out the rest of his contract from PAOK, so he could be set free. However that's just a rumor, so we will have to wait and see.
-
Panthrakikos beat Volos 1:0 today so the standings are:
1. PAOK 3 (one game)
2. Chania 3 (one game)
3. Panthrakikos 3 (2 games)
4. Volos 0 (2 games)
With a win on Thursday we claim the top spot, which also means we will be seeded in the draw for the Round of 16.
-
Apparently we are after Warda, the Egyptian dekari from Panaitolikos. At least that's what the rumors said today. The same rumors said that Olympiakos and Panathinaikos are after him, which leads me to believe that this is a fake story created by his agent to drum up interest.
Berbatov has been linked by Bulgarian media to Premier League team.

Watched a replay of the game last night on Sport Plus, and luck was on our side yesterday. Kalloni has some good chances in the beginning of the 2nd half to score and take the lead. if that happened I am sure we would not be able to come back.
Once Golasa and Mystakidis entered the game we started playing better and got what we needed, which was a win.
I my opinion Kalloni will be one of the teams that will bid goodbye to Superleague at the end of the season. The other will most likely be Panthrakikos.
-
Why wouldn't they. They managed to chase away Berbatov from the team.

Sabo and Berbatov are making the trip to Germany, but most likely will not start. Vitor and Golasa are injured and probably will not see any action until 2016.
Today Tudor tried this lineup at practice:
---------------------- Glykos -------------------
--- Skondras -- Malezas -- Tzavellas ---
------ Tziolis ----- Cimirot ------ Kace -----
Konstantinidis ---------------- Mystakidis
---------- Berbatov --------- Mak -----------
I am sure this will not be our lineup on Thursday.
